Sherlock wouldn't care. But I am a little worried what will happen if Bluebell finds all this ... :p

No. No. No. No catch. I am bad catcher. No... splat. Oh. Eh. Nevermind. Gahhh..it reminds me of Cumbersplat.

Deduction? Still this one? Okay. Toss me those bunnies. Use canon.

I think it might be something so specific that requires special knowledge, no?

You sure it's common? Really really sure? Really? What comes into my mind for yellowish soft pluffy unstable stuff that is common in Asia? Those things I have mentioned.. up to acid sulfate soil.. but no.

What I can think of unstable material is explosives or pharmaceutical or even cosmetic processes which are not.

Or mineral, but is it end product or raw material because I think both are mentioned.

Not food, so it eliminates quite a lot of things, but with eliminations above doesn't really leave many things that layman understands.

I would say this whatever thing shouldn't be too dangerous as you do it at home. Yet fertilizer is not, and dye is not so I eliminate pigments as well.

Are you making something using sulfuric acid? Damar gum or limonite or ochre? But then again, it counters what had been mentioned.

Is it something to do with biochemistry or metallurgy? Something to do with methane? Or are you making aquarium support for those anaerobic system?

No? I believe we have mentioned almost everything common. And I would categorize some of those mentioned as uncommon as well. :p

Oh about Kimchi, it doesn't smell like ammonia, but it doesn't taste better than presumed ammonia taste. Personal opinion. :p

Can I say that the clues are about as clear as mud?

nod-skype-smiley.gif Biochemistry.

@CAMPer:  It is unlike how most mysteries here presented before. All those joking and playful entries I made here is part of the layers of clues. Think it not as part of Sherlock's world of crime cases but as Mycroft's where everything is relative, dynamic and constantly changing.

Is it really, really useful? Like, every day, most people useful?

What is it used for? :d

I won't touch kimchi with a 40,000 foot pole; frankly, to me it smells like, well, something that's been buried then dug up again. :) But the rest of my family thinks it great. They're weird.

 Yes for the first question, not answering for the second since it is the same with giving you the answer myself.

In the same spirit with SetLock-style game of giving information in small pieces

Is it a felt Molly? Being, uh, marinated in biochemicals?

Posted

In a way it it the result of crafting process but no relation at all with felt.

Vulcanisation process to transform liquid oil into solid rubber?

Process of making battery or other energy source?

Something to so with infrared lens or optical filter?

Or certain variation of sulfur polymeric?

Are you making beer? Kinetic sand? Clay? Hybrid or gene crossing of plants? Or is it making something related to neoprene? Or is it a cover agricultural layer?

You see, I'm convinced that this thing is not common at all and requires specific knowledge to know about it.

Only learnt chemistry in high school although I am interested in it and had a lot of own leisure readings, probably know more than regular people and I also have weird level of curiosity and nerdism, but still, I have no idea.

Not pharmaceutical (poison included), cosmetic/hygiene, agricultural and many things I have mentioned so maybe I wouldn't know anything about this eventhough I tried.

Unless when the answer is revealed and we know but didn't see all along, you can laugh in our face.

Otherwise, I'd say this is unfair game. XD

Heck, you didn't even tried on that clug!

:D Nope for all of that. Sherlock would be interested if only to add more into his database of information to solve cases with.

Does it contain egg or egg products? Or fruit?

Are micro-organisms involved?

Is this a single, united thing, or a whole bunch of smaller things connected in some way?

What happened to the hot/cold clues?

Posted

No, no

Yes

Yes and no

Hot was used in the oven to bake some dog treats, cold had landed in my glass of juice to save yours truly from melting into a puddle because of the high temperature around here.

I've got your hot and cold right here....

How small are the smaller things?

Atomic level?

Molecular level?

Microscopic level?

Or visible to the naked eye?

Posted

Some are microscopic, the rest are visible but you needs good eyes for that.

(Really dead.)

:o Don't leave me, I needs you both! *is being dramatic*

I am so out of ideas that my brain just imploded.

(But I need to remain dead to dismantle my arch-enemy network...euh,.. shopkeeper at the corner of the street's old man who gave me a stink eye last month)

@Arcadia: :D Take your time.

@VBS: Your conductor of light will punch you for that

*reassembles brain*

Pieces missing.

Uhhh...... is it a fork?

Posted

No, but you can use a fork to stab it through.

Have you thrown it out yet?
