Haven't we given you enough clues that we need more clues? :p

I am throwing all my scientific minds (if there is any) out of window.

Is it a scalp? Or artificial scalp? Are you Buffalo Bill?

Or are you culturing something?

Was fungi also involved?

Is Was it a biological weapon?

Did you create it simply to torture us, or did it have some other use?

Fungi and bacterias were involved.

Thanks for the idea :D

Yes and yes.

I have realized I have no memory of what ammonia smells like, so that's a useless clue. :p

Erm.... You found a head, and were watching it decompose? That would have a worse smell than ammonia, though.....

Mushroom habitat?

Discovering a new cure for infections?

Poisoning the neighbor's dog?

Urine should smell a bit like ammonia, some curling substance smells of strong ammonia too.

Is it Pdms cultur material?

Agar?

Or maybe it's cells?

My brain cells?

I would say this job kind of sucks because; no clear job description, expectation above capability, no milestone rewards and has high level of health-risk and zero insurance. :p

@Arcadia: No, no, no, nope I plan to use it to poison CAM but Sherlock got to him first.

@VBS: No, no, no, I hope not :|

Yeast among other host of microbes.

No wonder I deleted that information.

Yeast, bacteria, fungi ... sounds like ingredients for The Blob. Er... have any of your flatmates gone missing?

Yes, thought it seems Mrs. Hudson was pleased with her new tea-drinking & gossipping partner.

I can't think of a single thing to ask. :(

Is it alive? Yes and no.

Posted

You're no help, I already asked that! I think.

It's a zombie?

It's a mold covered sponge ... no, that's right, it's not a sponge. It's a mold-covered spongelike thing?

Posted

No zombie, it is alive. It had sponge-like structure, a very fine sponge you can poke to create some holes.

Is it .... alive?

 Trace it back far enough, parts of it used to belongs to living beings.

There is a mess of inconsistent information. smiley-angry006.gif

Maybe modern day perming solution smells better. The ammonia smell was the one my aunt used for my cousin donkey years ago. When she wanted to catch me because apparently she hated straight hair, you should see how fast I ran barefooted, as fast as Sherlock running from ASBO issuing officer.

?!!!?? :blink::wacko:?!!? You're cousin is a donkey?

*snickers* It is consistent. Ask me after the mystery solved and I would be happy to explain.

I have to admit he has some sort of horsey face XD, ...but I mean donkey's year, yes I was missing an apostrophe and for a second I thought it was only me and some friend's invented vocabulary, but it's nottt... it's quite a common term for 'bloody long time'. :):axe:

Well, I think we will be too busy dissecting season 5 when it finally happens.

Are you making Kombucha Scoby?

Culture, bacterial, yeast, unstable, sufur, Asian origin, fits the clue. But I thought it should smell fresh, or maybe not, ammonia and sulfur stench are possible, yes?

Or are you making some sort of biofilm from some kind of methane-oxidising bacteria?

Or some anaerobic stuff but I have guessed that. Have I guessed beer making?

Posted

No, kombucha will give you a pancake-like stack of layers with rubbery consistency if thick enough.

Ammonia & sulphur stench definitely present.

Some sort of fungal biomass? Mycoprotein processes?

Does it have anything to do with fermentation?

Alkaline fermentation?

Or ethanol to produce alterative energy source?

I have never asked this before, because of plate. But now I ask, does it have anything to do with waste product treatment?

Or cleaning agent and process?
