But why you feed a cow by hand? :p

Yes..protection from using knife, for kitchen purpose. If only I had one, I probably saved a couple of squareinch of skin. XD

Oh..I see that Camper had the correct guess earlier. Sorry I think I missed the post although I am very sure I didn't see that (something messed up with my phone again?)

My sister and I both could use one of those only with her sensory integration issues it might not work. (If she ever gets married, the ring will be on a necklace instead of her finger.)

Why? Because she will chop it?

Or is it because she will lost it?

I'm very careless myself but apparently never lost mine, it's just a band type, it's probably easier to lose a necklace than a ring (just don't have it too big)

The weight of a ring cuts off the circulation to the rest of her finger. Same goes for a bracelet on her wrist.

Okay, that's a pretty big mustache ..... :p

Feed a cow by hand because they're warm and gentle and you want them to love you forever... wait, I might be thinking of horses.

Camper, you do the next one, because ... er, I have something else to do. :d

You mean you moustache is much smaller than the 3-4 fingers?

That is lame moustache, lady. I don't know what is your problem. :D

I don't grow myself, but when I get it from someone to put in a box, I get the majestic one. XD

I still don't have anything for this thread.

Hop hop.

I need you to tell me what is the specific thing they make.

These are the supporting processes.

Some sort of bamboo paper or wall hanging?

Posted

I think Camper's got it; paper making. Although I'm thrown by the guy with the loom/spinning wheel/wood router thingy, I can't figure out where that fits into the process. I suppose he could be making the stick that the paper wraps around at the end of a scroll, but that would be an awfully skinny scroll!

Really?!??! Hm, sure looks like it.... Okay, but at least part of the process involves making paper, doesn't it? Those 2 pictures on the bottom .....

Thinkity think think .... okay, they're using organic materials, so it's not going to be something air tight or particularly strong ... they're decorating it with flower petals, so probably meant to be at least somewhat decorative rather than functional ....

Maybe it's not bamboo.... Sugar cane? Are they making something edible? Edible to humans, I mean. Not the most sanitary process......

Good deduction except the last part. No it's not edible as in if's not meant for food, it could kill you because of the shape too I guess. :p

Yes organic materials, yes, it could be decorative but also functional, yes paper making part of process, and bamboo part of the material.

Hm. Too sleepy to think, will try tomorrow.

Are they decorative pots?

Posted

Looks like one of them is cutting up sticks? Weaving mats, maybe? Nah...... Hm. Oh ... making books? And some of those other things would be for the spine, and such?

Posted

Not books, but you are close with the functions of each part.

???

Okay, the first guy looks like he's making bamboo pieces all the same length? And they all seemed to be about the same diameter. So that suggests something like a place mat or door mat?

The woman with the scissors ... knife? ... looks like she's doing the same thing, only with some other material. Reeds? Smaller bamboo? Hm. Are they woven together? Maybe something like a trivet? Or crisscrossed with the bigger bamboo to make .....?

The guy with the loom or whatever ... still can't figure that out. Maybe he's sanding something so it's smooth? A handle? A hinge?

The hammer ... I'm guessing that's pounding bamboo (or something) into pulp, to be used in the two pictures at the bottom to make paper. Decorative paper.

So put all those things together and you have ... things that don't go together!

A room divider/screen?

I hate it when I'm visiting this forum and work happens. Geez they have no respect for my priority. :p

Nice observation except it goes downhill on the last sentence. :p Not place mat or door mat. The rest are good, bamboo pieces, some of them need to be on the se length, yes.

The woman should be making similar things with the man on different stage I believe.

Spine, handle, similar purpose.

Yes pounding pulp is for making paper which is part of that specific thing.

Not room/screen divider.

If the info helps, it's smaller than that. :D

Did I suggest a wall hanging already?

Posted

Yep, that was your first answer!

Oooh, oooh, I just thought of something.... those smaller sticks the woman is cutting up ...  ribs for umbrellas? Are they making paper parasols?
