I don't know actually, like right now I can see the book one but not the new one.

Did you do something with the book one?

 

The difference, I can't pinpoint any actually. For example, the first time when I couldn't see the book I was in another town, then I went home and saw the book. But now I am back to that town and still see the book. Same thing with previous problems, or the one with the bus/anime problem back then. Changing location doesn't mean anything because I experienced both (can/can't see) in both locations everytime.

 

When I posted the TRF one, the one with a lot of images when I tried to calculate Sherlock falling time, I uploaded everything in Imgur and it worked fine, but the next time I could only see half of it. If something not compatible, I should see none rite? Not half-half.

Anyway, until now Imgur is banned by my internet provider, I can't access the website.

 

I can see all images using my usual image hosting though (tinypic), the only problem with this web is the different image problem (bus/anime), it's rare, but happened at least two or three times I am here.

 

Conclusion: none.

Unless you happen to tinker with your previous image.

Btw, remember the catporn XD image in Dr.Strange thread. Right after I replied you that I could see it, I couldn't anymore. Weird heh?

I believe the problem is in my side, since nobody else seems to have it.

My first guess is hanger.

But I suspect it's not that easy.

Looking at the screw, this could be attached somewhere, maybe on the wall.. but why would it has the curves that stuck to the wall or floor if they are useless decorative? Nah..

 

This is made from metal, and seems like it is kept indoor, because it is dusty yet not rusty. Well some coating may prevent it from being rusty, but there are almost no sign that it is exposed under the weather.

There are more dust on the wider base, with some clean area where I suppose where your finger was. What does it mean, that the question-mark-like curve is the top part?

 

The sparkling silvery, is it significant or just a reinforcement for strength?

 

I want to guess that it is elbow supports for open shelves, it looks strong enough, but the screw doesn't seem sufficient because it is not located at the strongest point.

 

And why this shape?

 

Am I very wrong so far? Do I get anything right?

 

Is this part of some musical instrument or bigger thing? Part of easel maybe?

Or this is the weapon to gauge someone's eyes?

For now, this page is fine, I can see book and hanger.

I can see all Caya's videos fine, but apparently not the gif, png, jpg.

 

I don't know if it's Imgur, because as I mentioned, I included 5 imgur images in a post before, and sometimes I can only see half of them although all have same settings and all.

Oh.. so maybe it's plastic, means not to hold something very heavy. Most probably it's clothing items, it's too light to hold guitar I guess.

 

And if there is no screw means it's dangling, not attached to wall or floor, unless it's different mechanism like simple double sided tape, again, it can't hold something heavy, so I eliminate curtain too.

 

The head question mark area seems like bent outwards, not sure what it means though.

I suspect it's something with a pair. Slipper? Shoes?

 

Or tie? Scarf? Bra? Or doggie leash?

Wow. Bang on the nose! Yes, it's a hanger for shoes. I'd never seen shoes displayed that way before so I hung onto it ... but I can't figure out how to get the shoes back on it, or I'd post a picture of how it works. Good job!

 

I've gotten that little box with the filename in it too, from time to time. Not as often as you are, though, and it always goes away again eventually. And I'm nearly always in the same location when I'm online, so I've always assumed it's a problem with the website ... either this one, or the one where the photo is ... not with my equipment. But that's about as far as my thinking takes me.

I think you take a shoe such as a loafer and hang it by placing the toe end of the opening over and around the hooks. That's my guess anyway.

Someone's tried to repair it (poorly, I might add).... that stuff with tape on it looks like it might be some kind of insulation, or maybe a cork pad to protect whatever this thing sits on? So this may be the support for something for something else? Or maybe that's bread.

 

Electrical, apparently. And possibly under repair, or being assembled, judging by the screwdriver.

 

It looks like our Christmas tree stand, except for the wiring. The base of a cheap plastic lamp, maybe? Or perhaps a kitchen appliance, like a blender? Oh! Have you attached a Sherlock action figure to the other side?

Someone did try to repair it. Me.

But that was the original condition, it was really like that. Duck tape and all.

 

I just moved to this place where there is no proper public transport except cab. I was still trying to get my bearing, the only supermarket I know back then didn't provide a lot of choices. I needed one, so got that lamp for about 5 bucks I guess, new.

 

It worked fine for quite a long time, until it didn't. I knew it was just cable problem, so I opened that up and fixed it. The 'bread' that were duck taped are some stone to make the base heavy and steady. The wires were put together haphazardly but when I fixed it I made proper connection and insulation, I know a thing or two about electrical.

 

Have simpler one now, just a tiny usb reading light. Anyway I don't really need it now since I read from phone and my kindle has light, but this one is still working and alive.

 

So well done, yes, cheap plastic lamp, very specific.
