Fine. I still think you all are over thinking it. Possibly could have slipped more in. Just seemed that any little bit over what was calculated would of got them drunk. Its funny either way.

Great Britain's Gun Laws

Yeah. Is that really true? I guess maybe they would, just in case terrorist decide to go a different direction. But then you have bombs that aren't connected technologically. They're like ignited via dynamite? Yeah I did question that as well. Well thank goodness that one had an off switch?!?!- 29 replies

Oh. Yeah, I don't know for Mary if it was a reflex, as much as she felt like she did what she had to do. Even Sherlock said that she had to recalculate or take her chances, per she couldn't kill both Magnussen & Sherlock. Or she wanted to show she wasn't bluffing.

Wellllll. I didn't even notice that. Yeah they apparently only had 2 days to shoot on site for SO3, So I believe they had to rush things. But the editing & production team. These people get paid to do this stuff. So even mishaps are easily fixed via editing. If they didn't have additional footage- that's what the CROP tool is for. Hello!!

Great Britain's Gun Laws
jesskayding replied to jesskayding's topic in BBC Sherlock General Discussion.
Yeah, so that's what's confusing, for the most part he's not ok with breaking the law, but he walks around with his hand gun, not only that in some scenes, for example in HOB he shot that dig. So then I guess we are suppose to infer that Lestrade just turns his head & ignores the fact that John is carrying a gun illegally?- 29 replies

Also I meant they were attempting to catch the sound of glass literally sliding from his hand. Which with actual glass or better yet crystal, if wet makes a very distinct crisp sound. Its nicer to get the actual sound. It's cooler than a sub of that sound. Please see Sandra Bullocks Mrs. Congeniality, for Gracy Lou Freebushes talent of playing wine glasses.

Ok there is some confusion about John being legally? Able to carry a hand gun. As well as Major Sholto. The US is under scrutiny per our Losey Goosey gun laws. I thought it was near impossible for a citizen to legally own a gun in England. Could someone clarify?

You know Zain I'm about to begin a thread about that per I do actually find that confusing per England gun laws.

Episode 1.0, The Unaired Pilot (60-min. "Study in Pink")
jesskayding replied to Carol the Dabbler's topic in Series 1
I laughed so hard @ that scene, because it was super corny. I, I, I.... So glad they cut that from the aired version. How would anyone be able to take this series seriously with scenes like that. tear -
Awful ( says the most awful things.... Always - always) Oooo another a word without even trying. Bonus!

I implore you to watch that scene again. It is quite obvious that John forgot which was his & then took a chance on hopefully choosing the right one. Hay y'all know I'll go back & check myself when I'm wrong, see mí posts in is sherlock a chess player, in this case I'm absolutely correct.

He didn't really hand Mycroft the memory stick, he was putting John on. Remember he had the memory stick @ the pool to bait Moriarty, so he thought.

Well he wasn't down with Sherlock's schedule & measuring their drinks. Which is why he takes a shot @ the bar, says to the bartender hurry he mustn't see ( me enjoying myself ). He was trying his best to enjoy the lame stag night that Sherlock planned. Unfortunately he mixes up the tubes & messes up Sherlock's plan to have a sober stag night. I assume a stag night is supposed to be a drunken party the best man throws for the groom with the expectation of staggering home drunk, much like the expectation of strippers ( I don't condone this behavior by the way) @ the American version, we call them bachelor parties. He probably deduced that Molly's calculations were off versus John sneaking shots and accidentally giving him his drink. That's your weakness Carol, everything has to be so clever.

The School Shenanigans Thread
jesskayding replied to Bendydoodle Cantaloupe's topic in Miscellaneous Musings
Well the funny thing I remember is my freshman year... My foster parent was cooking fish in the morning. I was wearing a brand new outfit. She had like 3 other highschool girls in the house as well. All of us went to our different schools. All of us were made aware by our fellow classmates & teachers that we wreaked of bad fish odor. The non funny part is when we all got home we verbally lashed out @ our foster parent & threw out all of her fish. -
John didn't purposely lace Sherlock's drink which is why he was weighing & trying to figure out which was his. Why in the world would John want to lace Sherlock's drink?
