    I'm trying to decide whether his having been kind of a "messed up dude" all along will negate that -- or make it even worse. Are the effects additive or subtractive? I don't see Shirl having nightmares at all. Especially about that. He had a decision to make & he made it. Moving on.

    Yeah I didn't notice that, which is probably why it bothers John when Sherlock thinks of himself as his commander or as his " little help mate ".

    Sfmpco, what's sad is they'll probably wait till season 4 episode 3, to reveal "the other one" or not even touch on it at all. They could have thrown it in just to reference "Sherinford" or "Enola" for fun or fan speculation.

    Yeah here in the good ole US of A you can just put your gun in a drawer for anyone to access. Hence our quarterly CNN updates of parents getting shot by their child out of anger because they didn't like their punishment or new rules.

    It does seem that Irene obeyed the gun law fully. It was locked away. Not her fault Sherlock cracked her safe.
