  1. I think he was referring to being a war veteran. I don't know that he enjoyed pulling the trigger as much as it was for the good of his country. Or per all the threats to his life, he had to have some way of protecting himself... Don't be silly enough to sneak up on the man.
  2. Oh my goodness. Robin Williams is dead! They suspect he committed suicide.
  3. Sherlock did care. They've shown that throughout the series. John's blog: don't talk about the unsolved ones....yada yada yada... They do? Turning his collar up to appear cool "I have an international reputation" Time to go be Sherlock Holmes, he grabs the hat, his reputation fully restored @ this point. He faked his death & caused his best friend excruciating pain for 2 years to restore his reputation & dismantle Moriarty network. Shall I continue. I wish I was as clever as Sherlock, but I'm nowhere near the end of the list.." I'm surprised you didn't notice, all you have to do is look around this flat" (I'm referring to 221b of course) He says he doesn't care, but it's been quite obvious that he's very caring, especially starting in SIB... His heart is quite exposed & obvious. It's Mycroft who truly doesn't care. He cares only for Sherlock & tolerates his parents. Let's not confuse the two characters. They are a lot alike, so it makes since we would give each brother personality traits from the other without even recognizing that we're even doing that.
  4. Yum yum (Magnussen)
  5. Smiles
  6. Frozen Pizza
  7. Well I think it does mean something. That was Irene's feelings, not Sherlocks. If that's the case he seems quite comfortable with women touching him, besides his mother. Hug from even John made him feel strange. I just don't see that ever happening.
  8. Oh. I thought SJ got that one Arcadia.
  9. Hay we cant really help how we feel. I personally thought TRF was just as dark as HLV, if not darker. And talk about shocking and scary in TGG, lots of darkness & witnessing John wrapped in that bomb. Then it ended with sniper riffles on both of the main characters. At least in HLV we know that Sherlock & John are ok for now. It's a really dark series, like almost all of the time outside of SO3.
  10. I don't think Moriarty is that delusional to think that people closest to Sherlock would believe the lie. He simply wanted to kill his heroic/angelic international reputation. Burn him to a crisp with no hope of revival. Per Moriarty's connections, the public may have never discovered the truth, without his network being dismantled by Sherlock. Moriarty's identity was clearly changed successfully until his identity was changed back from Richard Brook to Moriarty, due to Sherlock's involvement. ( I'm sure Mycroft helped some ). Remember that everything being clever was Sherlock's weakness. Moriarty's weakness was being so changeable, the reason he blew his head off, so that Sherlock wouldn't be able to get him to change his plan. So anyway, to Moriarty didn't have to be clever enough to fool everybody. Just needed to be practical enough to full authorities, news readers/watchers, ect...
  11. I don't get it. What different direction? Seems a lot the same to me. Drama, twists, darkness & humor. Each episode seemed to push the envelope more & more. Not only that it brings the entire series full circle pretty much... Hence all the similarities with HLV & SIP.
  12. How could you possibly, never mind...
  13. Yeah that's a cute little bunny.
  14. That's hilarious. Beyonce's Diva song = "I'm the #1 Diva in this game for a minute" Maybe now BC is the number 1 diva in this game now.
  15. Sorry, I don't believe Sherlock is gay. That doesn't fit at all with his natural attraction, near instant attraction to The Woman. He stumbled over his words just a few minutes into meeting her. In SIP he clearly let John know he didn't have a boyfriend, but it certainly threw him off. He was quite succinct in his answer, however, to John about not having a girlfriend, but felt that John was hitting on him with the do you have a boyfriend question. Now he and John do have a really close relationship a lot like David & Johnathon in the Bible. They weren't gay, but the Bible says the love they had for one another was greater than that of a woman. That's exactly what we are witnessing with Sherlock & John. At no point do the writers even hint to Sherlock being gay, it's the exact opposite actually. Its others who think they are gay per John is Sherlock's live in PA, but it's really just humor in the script. We need to separate the meaning of love from sexual attraction. They're not at ALL the same!
  16. I'm not debating about who believed the lie. I was just attempting to answer the question that both sfmpco & Carol had. The final problem that Moriarty is referring to, is this man who's his equal being on the side of the angels. Moriarty solved that problem, so he thought... It was recalculated however by Sherlock within 2 years, so that Sherlock is no longer a fraud to the public.
  17. Yeah.. I do feel they married him off too soon. I have to admit though, that SO3 was one of my favorite episodes. Sherlock as best man priceless. I guess we'll have to see what they get on to in season 4. I also feel like I would have wanted to enjoy a few more episodes with John & Sherlock together in 221B. Maybe they should have held off on TRF, per it did make since that John would get on with his life and that was the perfect time in my opinion to meet the woman he would marry. So yeah maybe we needed more of season 1 for season 2. And then season 2 would be season 3 & then by season 4 we could be okay with the introduction of Mary. Make them have a long engagement. They do it the old fashioned way. They don't live together yet, so John would stay in 221b until season 5 or 6. Yeah that would have been easier to take. Now @ this point I except what has happened. Im confident that the two will remain a duo & maybe Mary won't really be super present during their adventures.
  18. Wow. Cool! Enjoy. Let us all know how he did.
  19. Well sort of.. All believed the lie except for his friends, relatives & some of his homeless network... 25 @ most.
  20. I thought he was referring back to the pool. He's always hated that Sherlock was on the side of the Angels.. So in TRF the final problem.. Sherlock dies as a fraud, he's no longer a hero in the peoples eyes. Literally now a fallen Angel in the eyes of Moriarty anyway.
  21. So it was beasleybean. Yayyy! It wasn't me this time!
  22. Yeah- I figured John thought Sherlock's mission would end in 6 mos. Also Sherlock looks contemplative. Leaving it open for interpretation??? I think the writers don't want to treat their audience like idiots.... We are very aware of John's & Sherlock's closeness @ this point Don't know that they needed to drive the point home with a bucket of tears. I think if the show became overly emotional, it has the danger of becoming a chick flick. This isn't Beaches, Steal Magnolias or The Sister hood of the Traveling Pants. This is dealing with a show who's main characters are a doctor, who's fought & been wounded in war & is an excellent marksman. The other is a trained fencer, boxer & high functioning sociopath who substitutes getting high by solving murder cases. Hello! No need for any extra sapp. They've including enough romance, longing, hugs & kisses to appease the female audience w/o having the men upchuck.
  23. I know right.
