Me? I wouldn't. Not because I think I'm perfect, but because A} surgery -- yecchh! and B} I think that people in general (not counting those with actual malformations or injuries) look best with their original equipment. I've seen a number of celebrities pre- and post-surgery, and I'm not convinced that it improved any of them. About all I could say for it would be that it made them look more average -- but less like themselves.

Well people do have butt implants, but I've never known any.

Here's a question, if you could afford plastic surgery would you do it and for what?

Agreed on the surgery & many celebrities before and after. For me the surgery would only happen if it was medically necessary (e.g. breast cancer, older age eye lid tuck so I could see, or some accident requiring reconstruction).

I think it's sad that so many women have such a low self esteem that they think surgery is the solution. But not only people with cancer can use it, transgender people as well.

I used to really want a boob job when I was younger, but I'm not so bothered now.

If we assume that the surgery was risk free and the result would look 100% natural, I would want a flat belly. Because no matter how much weight I loose or how much and how I exercise, it is always round and squishy. That's just the way I am made. It used to bother me lot, now, not so much any more. My looks just become less and less of a concern the older I get.

Oh, and Carol: yes, I do think my behind could be larger actually. They could use what they took away in front to augment my rear. :-P

Lol, I always think that - take it off my belly and add it to my boobs please. :D I'm pretty happy with my bum though. ;)

:-D While I really can't complain about my bust. It's a very comfortable medium in my opinion.

I just wish I wasn't so oddly proportioned. I wouldn't mind just being plump and curvy all over but I look like the top part of a hobbit was cross-bred with a stick insect. And my fat distribution is unhealthy - all belly no hips.

Oh well. Gotta work with what was given us I guess. At least it's functional and doesn't hurt most of the time, that's more than some people can say...

Well, I don't even bother to dress or to style or do a lot of maintaining with what I already have, let alone revamping the core.

Wait.. never heard of people want to enlarge their hands or feet. Why?

I don't remember the formula of Vitruvian, except that our height is equal with the distance of both hands stretched to the side.

I think that is quite accurate, so shorter people have shorter hand (not shorter head), actually never heard about the eight heads, is it really Vitruvian?

Yep, really. At least, according to Wikipedia and my art teachers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitruvian_Man

Smaller breasts. I've never understood why women want theirs to be bigger, they're quite, um, uncomfortable. Especially on a hot day.

But no, I probably wouldn't do it even if I could. I yam what I yam.

And the larger they are, the more vehement society is that one "needs" a bra -- which only makes things more uncomfortable.

Why do so many women dislike wearing bras? I love them. One of the best modern inventions imo.

I wanted long fingers. Elegant. My fingers are tiny.

What is bras? I don't find it in dictionary.

Because finding one in a big size is hard, and sometimes the metal comes out of your bra and start poking in your chest!

A bra is something for your breasts, and if Google translate is correct, it means sutyen.

Bra wires poking your chest? Ouch! That's never happened to me. Sounds awful. Most of mine don't even have wires and those that do are from an online store that sells really good, high quality all cotton stuff, bought during a sale a few years ago.

I just really need the support. Also I can't stand it when the skin underneath gets all sweaty, I even wear light sports bras or bralettes under my PJs at night to soak up any moisture.

Oh lord, me either.

I just have always found them uncomfortable. Constricting, itchy and hot. I've tried every kind I can find, they're all miserable. I have pretty sensitive skin, I think ... a lot of things bother me that don't seem to bother other people. Like makeup. How anyone can stand the feel of makeup on their face is beyond me, to me it's like having sweat caked on my face. Ew. But I know women who won't leave the house without it. My mother, for one.

Doe, "bra" is short for "brassiere," if that helps.

Arcadia, my sister has the same problem with bras. She buys sports bras in a larger size so it's not constricting and has been known to wear them inside out.

Personally I prefer no underwire (not really good for the body even when they don't poke) but I think my current ones have them. My issue is I need a racer back style or ones where I can cross cross the straps or the left one falls off despite being cinched up.

You know, I have never worn actual make up. Meaning foundation, concealer, blush, highlighter, etc. I vaguely remember putting on theater makeup for plays in school but that didn't stay on very long. All my face products have some kind of additional purpose, like my cover stick is anti-inflammatory, my powder is supposed to reduce acne (and I think it really does), my skin cream has SPF... The only exception is mascara. Without that my eyelashes would be invisible so I wear it fairly regularly. Doing a "full face" for me takes about one minute and needs 4 products.

Do you find sports bras uncomfy too or just the regular kind?

I wear makeup on occasion but it's a mineral base so healthier for the skin.

My bras are not a large size but they are underwired. And yup, I've also had the dreaded wire stabbing. At home I never wear a bra - it gets whipped off and thrown the second I get home. But I would feel super uncomfortable going out not wearing one, even though I don't really need to. I'll occasionally do it in winter if I'm wearing loads of thick layers but I would never go braless with a t-shirt on.

I know we've had the who wears make-up discussion in another thread. I will go out without make-up but I generally wear it. I get the feeling I wear a fair bit more make-up than the rest of you, but I'm also not particularly girly. I don't wear foundation much, but I do wear concealer, eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner and mascara pretty much daily. Occasionally blush, bronzer, highlighter if I want to make a particular effort. And yup, I get my hair bleached blonde at the hairdressers - which all makes me sound super girly. Except for the fact I also have an undercut and tattoos. So perhaps not so girly after all.  XD
