I have to say I'm relieved it's not the kind of hump that I thought it would be.

Found Mycroft-Only pedestrian crossing.

Oh, there were plenty of gifs for that kind of humping too. Shall I post one? 😛

Wait... what??????

That is what you meant with Happy hump day??? But.. but...! The lack of information is glaring! Or is it me? I mean, I don't think a lot of people would know it's meant for humpback, or IS IT ME???

It's like... like.. like..... happy scalp day.. maybe from a crafter meaning scalpel,

Or happy shove day.. for someone who love gardening.

It's... It's... IT"S...GAHHHHHHH   :blanket:

Yep, it's you.

I never know whether to skip eating on days that I have no appetite, or eat something anyway because it's supposedly good for me.  If I'm not hungry then maybe I just don't need food?

I made myself some soup but it's just sitting over there, getting cold...

If I'm not hungry I don't eat. I don't eat until at least 7pm on weekdays anyway because I feel sick if I eat in the day.

^ Me too.

I think I'll put my soup in the fridge for another day.

Weirdly it's not a problem on weekends. Maybe because I get up later and I'm usually awake a few hours before I go to get food, plus there's no rush to eat it.

^ Same here, I think that's what it is.  I usually can't eat in the morning or just after waking up without feeling sick.

Me too, as far as not wanting to eat till I've been up a few hours.

I do find, though, that if I'm off my feed later in the day, it sometimes helps to try just a few spoonfuls of something liquidy, like broth or soup.  That often wakes up my appetite, and then I can eat whatever appeals to me.  Whereas if I just go with "not hungry" and don't eat all day, I can end up feeling pretty puny from lack of nourishment.

I cannot imagine ever not wanting to eat...

Hell if I could, I would eat in my sleep!

Having said that, I am almost permanently on a diet.

Yet I would still always eat something: 3 healthy meals a day.

That for me may just consist of: fresh fruit and natural yoghurt, toasted wholemeal pitta breads and shredded wheat...but I would at least eat something along those lines.

Alas for me, I'm the same … I can hardly imagine not wanting to eat. I have to be really sick. 😞

I like to ignore the need to eat too, but then I have gastric and learned a very hard lesson just last month, including vomiting and really couldn't eat when I actually need to. So I'm trying to get something three times a day too. At the very least something to munch on.

I'm another one of those people who are nearly always eating and feel hungry all the time. But I gave up dieting years ago because I found it to be counterproductive. I am actually at a lower weight now after pregnancy and childbirth, not minding how much or how often I eat, than I ever was after I stopped growing (except for one summer where I starved myself to impress a boyfriend who neither noticed nor cared).

I try to eat mostly healthy foods and to exercise regularly, but what with work and family and our budget, there are limits.

I also cannot stand having to leave the house in the morning without having had breakfast. If things are really chaotic, I eat in the car.

Never a problem for me, I always get up so early.

I really don't get people who don't do breakfast.

Anyone else hitting the sauce this Saturday evening?

Posted

Yes I mean alcohol. I barely drink but I was tempted by a bottle of Baileys in the supermarket yesterday. I'm sure I'll regret it tomorrow.

I’m allergic and I have to work in about 90 minutes. Thinking about a hot chocolate if I can manage my supervisor role correctly.

LOL, one of my friends just told me it's my hate that keeps me looking young :D

If stir-fry sauce counts.  :P  Stir-fry for dinner, mmm.

I am also a teetotaler.

I don’t diet.  Tried it in my teens and 20’s, but my weight seems to do what it wants no matter what or how much I eat.

Why not?  We’re not that mysterious.  :P

Why do people try to talk me out of an opinion by telling me how many other people don't share my opinion?

"How do you like this thing?"

"I don't like this thing."

"But hundreds of other people do like it!"

...And?  That has zero bearing on what I just said.
