I still think it's all something manipulated by Mycroft to keep his little brother in the country.  After all, "Your loss would break my heart."

If this is in fact what happened, I'm going to be emotionally compromised.

It'll definitely throw an interesting twist into the overall plot line.

Part of me hopes it is Myc cuz I wd like to see the brothers trying to outsmart each other, but only if Sherlock wins!

ooh...I get what you're saying Carol.  That adds a whole new twist to the overall plot line and is fodder for more speculation.

Isn't everything?  ;)

New York City?

I'm confused.  NYC?  I hope the Sherlocked Convention (if it ever happens) is in NYC b/c that's only a couple hrs from me, but other than that.... I'm lost.

That's what I get for trying to use one of those danged Apple devices. It apparently thought it knew more than I did and substituted NYC for what I actually typed, which was Myc. As in Mycroft. Now that I'm back on my beloved PC laptop, I've corrected it.

Now I'm once again in control of my own words, what I was trying to say was in response to this:

I still think it's all something manipulated by Mycroft to keep his little brother in the country. After all, "Your loss would break my heart."

I almost hope this is true, because I'd like to see Sherlock and Mycroft spend season 4 trying to outwit each other! But if they revealed the truth in the first 2 minutes and that' it ... pffft. Then I think I might be disappointed that it's simply big brother to the rescue.

Isn't there a way to disable the autocorrect and/or autocomplete?

Derned if I know. I use this device maybe twice a year, I can barely remember how to turn it on, let alone adjust settings. We (my art group) use it to run credit cards, nothing else. I was gallery sitting and bored. Next time I'll just remember to take my laptop.

auto-correct makes life very interesting sometimes, though.  :)

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard and then scroll down to "Auto-correction" and switch it off (On = green, off = gray). Isn't it great to have a technophile on this site?

Yes! Can you come with me to the next art show? I'll dictate and you type. Tap. Whatever.

There's no denying it:

"The press is a very valuable institution if one knows how to use it. SH"

^_^ to spare you searching through your Baring-Gould, he says it in The Six Napoleons, I just couldn't resist making it look like one of his ubiquitous text messages.

Regardless of plot, I bet visually and as far as music goes, this episode is going to be hauntingly beautiful.

I still can't believe X-Files is going to be out on TV before series 4...  I'm just full of deep thoughts this AM.

Shouldn't we have a Special NEWS thread?

Here ya go -- I just deleted the word "Filming" from the title of the "Christmas Special Filming News" thread.

Deep thoughts, like deep-sixing the creators for #%#%*#* with our minds and our heartstrings for so long? Right there with you! Unfortunately J.P. "forgot" to take her riding crop along to the Convention, and I did not have a Platinum card, so Messers. Moffat and Gatiss will continue their Chinese water drop torture, or the more European rack variant as long as they deem fit!

BTW, it's funny but in the talks I watched I haven't heard one question about the S4/Special schedule.

Maybe people are tired of asking?

Or maybe they're tired of hearing the same answers? :)
