Your dog is adorable . Is he more poodle than cocker/spaniel or is that look just that dominant?

 

Walking him at night remembered me of friends of mine, who have a small herd of sheep, and once had to hand-rear a little black lamb they called Marie (her mother had abandoned her). Since that meant giving her a bottle of milk frequently at first (which she took with enthusiasm while looking heart-meltingly cute doing so, I loved feeding her when we visited) they took her along pretty much everywhere they went when they were both out for the first couple of weeks. Not much of a problem, sheep can walk basically from birth and she learned to accept a dog harness and walk on a leash with surprising ease. So one evening, when it was already dark, we were walking back to our cars from some mutual friends' house, when an old lady passed us by. Seeing Marie (but only dimly so, black lamb at night) she exlaimed, "My, aren't you a cute little doggie" and bent down to pet her. The "cute little doggie", meanwhile, hopped towards her hand and offered her an enthusiastic, "Baaaaaaaah!" - I'll never forget the poor woman's utterly confused face :lol:.

 

This here isn't Marie (have to check if I have a photo of her) but she grew up to become a beautiful lady sheep that gave just as beautiful, soft black wool, and was always up for a cuddle .

Yay for a new camera, it's actually fast enough to take pix of some of my pals visiting the food pantry this morning...

Junco. Very good guests: they're ground feeders, so they clean up what everyone else tosses out.

 
Titmouse. I'm proud of this one because they usually come and go so fast that I miss the shot.

He had the field and was wide open, not sure why he took the horse so wide out into the course. But it's a good thing Illya didn't stumble badly and take a fall.
