I've never heard the change handle or spout bit either!

Whenever I see him as himself these days I'm amazed he managed to pull off being Sherlock so sexily.

These days? Hasn't he always been amazing that way? ;)

It used to be that even when he wasn't styled as Sherlock he was pretty sexy, but... don't murder me, but I don't think he's aging well... perhaps it's because he always looks better with hair that softens his features, especially as he gets older, but never has that kind of hair as himself.

Martin on the other hand seems to be looking better as he gets older. Imho.

I agree with Pseud.  BC is not particularly aging well, and the shorter hair takes away some of the softness that those odd and angular features really need. Right now (don't kill me either), I think he mostly looks older and tired.

MF, as Pseud points out, seems to be getting better with age.  Sometimes those guys with the boyish good looks early on become absolutely stunning when they hit their prime in middle age.

IMO BC is ageing quite well, but already in S3 he looked… worn out. The same for Martin, who now looks much older than he is.
BC on the other hand still can look like a kid on some photos.

Are you talking about the tip me over pour me out bit as he does that at the end; though some might argue that it could have been better and done sooner.

I am a children's librarian and "I'm a Little Teapot" is part of my professional repertoire.  But thanks to Ben, 'tip me over and pour me out' now has indelible sexual connotations, which, while not unwelcome, now mean that Benedict Cumberbatch has ruined this song for story time now for me forever more.  I don't want to inflict my filthy  mind on the kids, even if they can't tell what I'm thinking.  My lecherous smile at that bit would give me away.

If you all have a mind to, go to YouTube and check out Bendi's 'Sesame Street' appearance.   More innocence of childhood given a new spin for the fandom!  :)

BC looks to me like a man raising two small children. :P

Agree absolutely about the hair, though. Longer has always been far more flattering for him, even when he was younger; it's a shame he refuses to wear it that way. Good for him for not really caring, though.

I thought Martin also looked worn out in S4, and so did Loo and Amanda. Which inclines me to blame the cinematographer and lighting director more than actual age. They all looked fine in TLD, except for Sherlock's druggie scruff.

My understanding of the longer hair is he has no idea how to manage it. He like me has naturally wavy/curly hair and that can be a pain if one doesn’t know the proper maintenance. He needs the curly girl book (has a whole chapter for the guys) I mentioned some months ago. It would help immensely in the how manage to curly craziness.

Everyone looked rough and worn out in season 4, but I meant more in their appearances as themselves since.

Ah. I don't know, I think BC looks fresh and chipper in the video I just posted! And I hardly ever see anyone else. At any rate, I'm pretty sure I look older too, since then. It's been a harrowing year. ;)

Yay, Sherlock hair! God, he's pretty. :D

I like the music. And I always enjoy seeing Babybatch. ;) I have to admit I've never cared much for the spoken word put to music, though.

Swiss tennis player.  You don’t watch sports eh?

He’s one of the top tennis players in the world along with Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Andrew Murray (the last one’s a Brit & met Benedict after winning Wimbledon a few years back).

So you’re to (at least some) sports what Sherlock is to pop-culture apparently. Or you’re having fun trying to pull out legs ;)

Never heard of Les Twins, but they're great! But why is it, when they dance, they look amazing, and when Ben dances, he just looks like a dorky white guy?

Nothing much new, but a nice little interview I stumbled across.  http://entertainment.inquirer.net/263831/benedict-cumberbatch-sherlock-holmes-president

And some news about Sunnymarch, which appears to be hiring a lot of women: http://variety.com/2018/film/news/benedict-cumberbatchs-sunnymarch-banner-taps-leah-clarke-head-of-film-1202712589/

Because you cannot move graciously wearing that slim fit suit and new patent leather shoes.

And I think it's Ben's way of suggesting someone gets him a musical. He's doing it for years now. :D

Ha, I've been thinking the same thing... I'd go see it!
