But the Current War sounds mighty interesting: the inventor of the electric chair against a stubborn genius with hundreds of patents in his name, a genius who came back from his wedding party to the lab to tinker on the incandescent light bulb! That must have made for an interesting wedding night! And if it's period dress, better Edison than Westinghouse: the other poor fellow will have a heck of a time in make-up with Westinghouse's facial hair at the time of their confrontation!

Does he want to do a bit part in Eastenders because the producer is an old school friend? Why not try The Archers or Coronation Street otherwise? They have been going on for very much longer! Is it the Old Boy network?

It seems like I recall him saying in an interview once that he likes EastEnders so I'm not surprised that he would like to have a cameo on there.

Right! The Dr Strange film will start filming in November ( lucky BC will miss out on all the nail- biting and angst of the Special), it will focus on the origins of Dr Strange and will feature Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton. Will he or will he not come back to Britain for Christmas to be with family, the d#^*#* elusive Benedict?

In which case, he might be tempted to drug Mycroft's punch,aka Mr Gatiss, since the latter, like Sir Sean (Bond, James Bond) is half Irish and dreams of being the King of Ireland!

Yep, despite the fact that the O'Haras had fought the O' Malleys nearly to extinction before the Danes took over and established a peaceful reign that was forcibly taken away by right of conquest by Henry II Plantagenet! Not to mention that St. Thomas a Becket was still Chancellor and helped organise the logistics of that campaign!

new article mostly on Hamlet and fatherhood - my one quibble is that I have yet to see anywhere any pic of him cradling his newborn son that was released to the public.  Trust me, it would have been all over Twitter, Tumblr and probably even here.

Agreed to both.  The same goes with an official wedding pic.  But he has mentioned some time back that he tries to keep his private life private, so I don't expect to see any official family photo anytime soon.

Interesting to note that David Tennant is notoriously private about his private life.  He and his wife are NEVER filmed together on the red carpet.  

 

No, the press on BC was either mistaken for a pic of PC holding the infant son of his friend Adam Ackland a few years ago or they were referring to the pap pic of BC with Christopher over his shoulder.  There are no pics of BC cradling his own newborn that have been released to the public, just as there are no wedding photos released to the public.  Private is private, and good on him for keeping it so!  Good on him for not selling the exclusive pics to one of the tabloids.
