Yeah, your obsession is really bad when you are happy to see Anderson :D

Hey, I like Anderson!  :P

Yeah, I know I am already two feet in when I'm happy to see him.

Happy I'm not alone!

If I was at an actual crime scene, and there was someone who waltzed in and started doing seemingly random things, and there was also a forensic pathologist who was trying to keep the intruder from contaminating the evidence, I'm pretty sure I'd sympathize with the pathologist.  I suspect the only reason I ever think of Anderson as the weirdo is that Sherlock is -- well, he's Sherlock Holmes, and he's always right.

Poor Anderson!  Just trying to do his job.  :(

That's why Anderson should be more like Gil Grissom!

Your obsession is really bad when you join an online discussion forum with the objective of catharsis and rehabilitation through writing down what you think and feel*, only to find that you are now obsessed with the forum itself! And can barely get through a regular workday without looking in atleast once  :(

* - how sad is it that the therapist's advice to John in ASiP played in my mind as i wrote that line? Is there any hope for me at all?

PS: I can actually remember a time not long ago when i used to be normal; but then, that was boring

PS2: I am frightened of myself!

Dear Boswell, don't feel so bad about it! The forum is a kind of support group for Sherlock Holmes addicts! And by that, I mean the character, not just Benedict's interpretation.

(By the way, PS2 is a Sony games machine, that note should be PPS and the third would have been PPPS for Post Scriptum: you are the most famous lexicographer's helpmeet, after all!)

I like Anderson, from beginning to now. It's Sally that I dislike a lot.

Which forum are you talking about? If it's here, you are the chosen ones, like us.

If somewhere else, seriously, get yourself checked. :)

Sometimes I wish I named my dog Sherlock, so when I potty train him, I could say No shit Sherlock.

It's very sad. Tragic even. Nope, no hope for you whatsoever. Surrender now.

Support group, yeah, that's what I thought this was too, except most support groups are intended to help you get over your addiction/affliction/whatever, not drag you in deeper until resistance becomes futile! :lol2:

Thanks for the correction, i just knew something was off there, and even though I was having a worse day than usual I need to be more careful when going by a name that Holmes honours with the possessive pronoun 'my' !

Absolutely, definitely, no way, nope! If you named the dog for that specific turn of phrase, it should be MYCROFT!

Yep, it's right here in my Spanish to English dictionary: "loco -- noun. Members of the Sherlock forum." :P

(Joking aside, I have all Rathbone films and the complete Jeremy Brett series, so I know it's a Sherlock Holmes obsession, rather than a simple Sherlock one!

This affects all U.S. members of the forum: since English was never voted as the primary language of the country in the Constitution nor included as such in the Bill of Rights, Spanish may eventually become the predominant idiom, and in Sherlock's words: not much cop, this ...lark!
