Rossini is as much a light-weight in opera as Sherlock is in alcohol intake! Seriously, dear Arcadia?

Hey, don't blame me, it was the disc jockey's choice! :D

Oh, I have some living near me. I don't see them much, but hear them a lot. Probably they have been nesting in the neighborhood for longer, I just haven't paid attention. :)

Oh..! I have never seen one in person before that.

We don't have magpies here, but they're one of our favorite birds in the UK -- such a beautiful, bold, distinctive pattern!  But our interest in magpies has nothing to do with our Sherlock obsession (we just like birds).

Both for me. Not sure which percentage is higher.

You know your group obsession is bad when you start posting replies to one thread in another thread, and everyone gets the joke.

... when your cell phone plays "staying alive" for the first time to let you know you have a call, and instead of answering, you jump with joy and clap your hands.

You begin to think that the current situation is your chance to study the effect of comatose to the patient and her surroundings.

... when you read a love poem you have on your computer for ages and suddenly it makes you think of Johnlock... And you don't have any intent to ever enter that ship!

Is it still an obsession or does it count as brain damage already?

and think of :sherlock2:  even if he wouldn't say it that way because of proper grammar.

The grammar is fine -- they merely invented a new word (one that the Holmes brothers should have no problem understanding).

When you post a Sherlockian reply to someone's FB post then come on here and make a game based on that post.

Can someone please tell me what the heck this is about?  Benedict/Sherlock i get, but the woman?  Who is the woman?  Is it the woman woman?  Looks like some sort of domestic bliss to me.

I'm thinking it could possibly be meant to represent The Woman in a slightly Victorian manner

Well, since in the Victorian/Edwardian setting there was no Molly, it's either Irene or any of the legions of his distressed female clients, from Mary Morstan to Lady Hilda Trelawney Hope! Take your pick!

In order of viewing the pages, nope on door knockers, wouldn't fit and I would probably set it askew to annoy the rest of the family, no need for tiered cakes, birthday cakes are so much simpler to bake and decorate; loathe, abhor any Dr Who past Cushing, but would definitely embroider the vignette as a gift to another Sherlock-addict!
