When you see this book and think that Mycroft secretly started a writer career. :D

Now that's a real self-help book! :D

Dear Shadow Dweller, I bet that the non-existent astronomical phenomenon would find it "very affirming", as Sherlock said!

I am thinking to send that book to several troublesome people I know just to point out that they really need it. dancing-yahoo-emoticon.gif

Hey, Consulting-Timelord -- welcome to Sherlock Forum!  :welcome:  Glad to see you jumping right into the fun!

You'll find a lot of people here who love both of your favorite television shows.

Thanks, Carol! Could you enlighten me on how to reply to people's posts? Do I tag their username with the @ symbol? :D

The "@" symbol can be used -- the forum software doesn't recognize it, but most members do.  Or you can just use the person's name, as though you were talking to them.

If you're responding to something specific, though, the best way is to use the Quote button on that post (as I have done here).  That'll take you to a Reply page with the other person's post already set up in a quote box.  All you have to do is type your reply underneath the box and hit the Add Reply button.

...When you watch 2 episodes of Sherlock the day before your Science exam for which you have not studied.

Time well spent.

You can argue that Sherlock is relevant with science.

Obsession: when you pretend to be busy by browsing Sherlock forum so you don't have to talk to people.

...When you purchase 2 Sherlock Titan figurines... both of Sherlock (there are 3 or 4 different Sherlock ones in various dress)... and you have no idea what on earth got into your head to do such a silly thing...

But you do talk to people browsing the forum. Kind of. :D

Nope.  Obsession would be knowing exactly why you bought them -- because you need them.

I am in denial of such need.  Yet I take them out in secret when no one is around and just look at them.

Of course we're fine. Everything is fine (or however that line of Sherlock's is worded, modified to fit our numbers).

When you get all excited when watching The Martian because you spot Jonathan Aris in a couple scenes.

Yep! Indeed! I was giggling like a girl and said in my head,"Anderson, shut up!" It's unexpected and happy to see him.

I also spotted him (playing a reporter) in one scene of Ali G Indahouse (with Martin Freeman in a distinctly un-John-like role).
