That's 'slime', isn't it? The kind that children play with but also great to clean dusty corners in your keyboard that usually unreachable because they are so narrow.

Gosh, thanks! How thoughtful! But gee, I feel like I should share this treat. Here...

There you go. Dig in, enjoy!

I was thinking of making a really sick joke here, but since I am above such things I'll merely point out that keyboard goo only enhances the flavor of green glop. So clean all you like, just make sure to send me the leftovers.

So true for me, but with experience comes better capability to tolerance different ways of thinking. It doesn't stretch to the ESFJs in my life though, they loves to comment about everything and trying to prove that they are right (usually about nonsense like choice of words even in private like today). Each time they do this and I happen to be not in the mood to tolerate their harassment, it is guaranteed that I will crush their arguments swiftly and grind the remains under my shoes with pleasure and techniques any ENTJ would recognize.

Posted

Don't think I know ESFJ personally, some people drive me nuts but I delete them out of my mind enough that I don't even want to guess their Mbti. Some less annoying acquaintances I suspect as ESFP make me bang my head on table sometimes for their indecisiveness (is it a word?) and drama.

I thought of nice testimonial about what other types do that I may not able to do, that send me into shaking my head in gratitude or amused.

My INTP colleague has the capability of taking everything thrown his way and being okay about it. He is in the middle of every chaos and mayhem and everything wrong of the project (result of incapable arrogant idiotic consultants who should be experts. Oh, those highly so-called respectable international consultants who apparently experting more in bullshitting than actual works.) yet he is calm like a clam, he is never provoked. He has the patience to be the middle man connecting parties that can't sit together without fingers on each other necks. He can have mountains and mountains of works yet always have mood for coffee break or nerdy distraction. He takes up responsibilities more than he should.

Wow. Every time I ask him why he can do all those because if I were in his position, I would strangle someone, tell multiple people to fcough and chastise them for inability to do their works that result to all those. Same with him, I have more interest in moving on with solutions than putting blames and having any drama and bullshits but for multiple stubborn arrogant mistakes I shall make it known that they are incapable horsesh*t and better to get their act together instead of making more mistakes and covering it with bullshits and excuses. Oh and if I'm busy, normally I can't really stop for coffee breaks or chitchat, I even resent the need to pee.

Needless to say I am grateful that my phase dealing with all those consultants had passed (to their relief as well). Eventhough I don't agree with his method, I have my hats off and maybe he has the right way, at least no one would be killed at the end of the project.

Good god, where do you guys get those patience? Or it's just him, not mbti related?

And I love the sadism and cool nature of ISTP, my appreciation to ISTP spouse, no bullshitting given or taken, very decisive, have magic hand to make things work and never take shit from anyone. The level of determination is crazy in a good way once they set the path to something that catches their interest, or ignore everything else deemed unnecessary. Stress resistent and still able to be logical all the time. Talk only when he needs or wants to, there are no single fake compliment, small talks or bs ever waste his and companion's time.

ISFJ, apparently I know a lot of those, friends and siblings (mainstream type eh :p) While we butthead multiple times because somehow (personal opinion) feelers often mistaken thinker's ways of saying and dealing with something as cold and offensive. But this types are kind hearted and very often genuine. The kindness is not done for show, not exaggerated and not for sentimental purposes. I found they do the kindness by accident or non-purposely revelation, which make me appreciate it more, as they don't look that kind.

And ENTJ, I don't know an ENTJ personally, I have only been a new secret admirer of a public figure who is real genius in real life, combined with extreme charisma and confidence with right amount of humble and self awareness. It's awesome.

How do you guys know other people's MB types? Do you make them all take a test? Or can you just tell? If so, how?

I made suggested that Alex take the test, and was not at all surprised to learn that he's an INTJ.

As for my own INTP "fatal flaw" according to that article, umm I don't think so! Rather than exhibiting "resistance to others' worldviews," I seem to be cursed with the tendency to see both/all sides of damn near everything. At least that's the way it looks from the inside.

I was thinking the same thing, Carol, but maybe from the outside we seem resistant? I know I'm not easily persuaded to change views, but I always thought I was fairly good at understanding other views, whether I believed in them or not. Now I'm worried that I'm this horrible, judgemental person!

Yup, me too. Despite being put into Hufflepuff by all the quizzes, I still *feel* like a Ravenclaw. Maybe I'm answering the questions according to the person I'd like to be -- or the person I feel I "should" be? I'm much too lazy to be a good Hufflepuff!

From all I know about Harry Potter, I am definitely a Hufflepuff. :-D

I'm starting to think I should take the Myers-Briggs test over again, I'm getting suspicious my "F" has finally won out over my "T" as I near senility. The last few things that have run through here, I feel like I identify more with the INFP than the INTP! I do seem to recall than it was like a 48/52 balance in favor of T, maybe it's switched?

Although I do feel like I'm more suited to the Ravens than the Gryffons. I'm not particularly brave.

For those I mentioned, except the last one, yes they took the test. Some already know what they are, others took the test quite willingly, curious about what it is about.

I always try to guess their mbti before they told me and get it most of the time, maybe because I have known them for long time. How? Instinct maybe, based on my long term friendship/relationship? E/I is pretty easy to tell, F/T as well, P/J and S/T are also quite obvious, unless it's borderline (40-60%) then it's difficult and likely to mix up the result.

https://www.quora.com/Which-MBTI-types-match-which-Hogwarts-HousesSome of the arguments makes sense to me.

I always know Slytherins are cool.., of course..! Not merely sneaky, nasty and noseless. :p

I'm starting to think I should take the Myers-Briggs test over again, I'm getting suspicious my "F" has finally won out over my "T"...

So did you?

I've always wonder if mbti ever changes overtime.

I did my first test long time ago, same, but didn't care too much to understand it. Then a couple of years, same and again, didn't care, actually until I found this thread, I then find it interesting, then I retest again, still the same.

I wonder when I was much younger maybe I was different, I used to worry more about what other people think about me I guess and have better tolarance with people. Or maybe it's because I had to be in school settings etc, or when I was not independent yet.

My view as outsider (I have two INTP friends) the 'flaws' is actually (I think) INTP see and understand from too many sides. They can understand why this party is right, and also understand why that party is right, and so on, ..everyone is right.

I think it's nice, I really do, it sounds great to live in the world where everyone is right. Actually I can see that also (other pov and their reasonings behind) but to me, someone has to be right-er than the other, by considering every factors, and that other one has to die..be killed..shut up...wrong.. :)

I know when I first took the test, the "P" part especially just described me so well that I actually felt relieved ... somebody somewhere has acknowledged that's a legitimate way to think!! Yay!!! But I do remember my "J" boss trying to convince me I needed to be more like her. I still think she was way off base, but it did help me realize that the "P" part of me is sometimes hard for other people to accept.

Too bad! :P

Honestly, I don't think everyone is right, I think I'M right! :D No, really, I just try to follow my Dad's advice (and no doubt I paraphrase) ... just because you understand something doesn't mean you have to agree with it. Or to put it the other way around, just because you don't agpree with something doesn't mean you can't understand it. But I do think that, sometimes at least, someone really is right-er than the other. (And it's usually ME! :P)

That is a nice piece of advice.

My wise man have a good one along that line too, eh, with slight difference,"just because I understand you, doesn't mean you are not wrong..!"

Many time I see people's face lighted up when I completely get them by laying piece by piece of their thinking process, then they didn't see what is coming when I start to berate them afterwards.

Depends to the person I talk to, if they are not nice, I do it in that order. If they are decent human being, I flip it to make them feel slightly better at the end.

Took the long version too, with slightly different results. I have to admit this test doesn't resonate with me the way the Myers-Briggs does. Too black/white?

I don't really understand the variant stacking though.

Perhaps because they make no effort to explain it?

Apparently they think it should be obvious, I guess. And maybe it is?

XD Something about the priorities in our choice maybe? :p

So for me, the importance is self, sex, and social. K.

For you, omni, you want everything..! Tsk.. tsk..! :D

Looks interesting. Will have to check it out tomorrow when I get back on my computer.
