Benedict Cumberbatch as "Doctor Strange"

I ... actually wish that Dr.Strange has more heart than other superheroes movie, I like to know about the character more than more fighting scenes. But since the first one is successful, maybe they will follow the same format.

If Indiana Jones is anything to go by, they presumably will, alas! That first movie had a nice contrast between shy, bookish Professor Jones and his adventurer persona that was completely missing in the second. They did have more character development and backstory in the third movie, though, so perhaps there is hope for Doctor Strange as well.

I hope so, I really want to see the character in depth, although I actually not sure how much I want the impact of empathy for another fictional character.

I mean, Sherlock already messes me up. :(

So we meet again.

*continue circling, battle music built up in the background*

:p

On Dr. Strange, huh.. some smarties in podcast I heard today said BC is not the right cast, because he doesn't have enough charisma to be funny. Something like that.

I find lot of flaws in Dr.Strange but those are definitely baseless.

They are entitled to their opinions but because it's different with mine, they are obviously wrong! :p

Oh, and they prefer superhero movies to have less origin story, and go quicker to established superhero. Nyah nyah nyah.

Turned it off, didn't look for them anyway, I just saw Dr.Strange and download it.

Yah, we disagree with every word they say, but we'll defend to the death their right to say it!

Okay, maybe not to the death.

Maybe not even defend, they can do that for themselves.

Okay, never mind. They're wrong and should shut up.

Way to go, dear Arcadia! You used one of my favourite quotations of all time, vive Voltaire!

The funniest video I have seen up to now is the one where Benedict visited a comics shop in full Dr Strange costume, but couldn't buy anything because the dratted thing had no pockets and he had no money on him!

The one about "I disagree with everything you say, but shall defend your right to say it with my last breath" more or less, I am paraphrasing from the French original here, sorry!

Oh. I didn't look far enough back.

Actually, for years and years I thought I was quoting Robert Heinlein. :P And then I thought it was Voltaire. And finally I discovered it's really Evelyn Hall..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evelyn_Beatrice_Hall

Oh, I don't know. He certainly wrote to a clergyman, the abbot M.L. Riche that he disagreed with everything the priest wrote, but would defend with his life the abbot's right to keep on writing, in 1770. And it's an appropriate quotation for Dr Strange, as well, since he also had to learn humility in a very hard way!

The Cloak was my favorite character. I wonder if it's related to The Carpet?
