But when you asked us to narrow it down, do you mean picking just one of our guesses or narrow down in term of getting more specific in what we are guessing?

 

If it's the first then I'd guess it's root of a tuber :p.

If it's the second, let's see. I was pretty sure it's a taro because of the skin, but you yapped in my face and said no.

Aiz, what is more specific. Is it the irregular skin of a tuber or bark, or ugly flower part?

 

From the base it is put, it seems small althought not microscopic, is it ugly fruit? Part of ugly flower? Horrendous flower petal? Failed potpourri?

Yes, it's a plant. But what kind? How is it used? Just curious to see if anyone can get any closer.

 

So, yes, it's a root or tuber. But not a yam, taro, or flower bulb. Of the ones you and Camper have mentioned, I would say that ginger and Asian herb are the closest, but not quite there.

You know this game can be won really easily if you just search by images on Google Images. All you have to do is enter the link to the direct picture and then search by images.

Right click the picture and then select 'Open image in a new tab'. This new tab will only show the picture. The link in this new tab is the link to the direct picture.

I'm on Windows 7 and I use Google Chrome. What do you use? Internet Explorer?

Windows 10, and at the moment I'm using their new Edge browser. Been trying it out, since there's so many things Explorer can't seem to do well any more. So I'm having to learn how to do almost everything from scratch again. :( (I don't use Chrome because everything related to Google hates me and the feeling is mutual.)

 

So, Win 10 has this little assistant called Cortana, and I'm still figuring out what it's good for. Apparently one thing it's good for is finding images on the interwebs. Who knew?
