I'd like to literally translate a German saying here, Carol: "your word in god's ear" (meaning: I fervently hope you are right).   At least the USA is a very old and until now very stable democracy.

Anyone see the Portland's news?

People died defending two teenage Muslims who were insulted and threatened by some kind of white supremacist.

Heroes don't need to wear cape.

 

I saw many these kind of racial/religion insults news nowadays, it's sickening that those people think it's alright now they have their role models.

It's nothing new I know, happened all the time, but we should move toward the direction of it being 'less okay' than 'you can do that now'.

 

Close minded morons.

Anyone see the Portland's news?

People died defending two teenage Muslims who were insulted and threatened by some kind of white supremacist.

Heroes don't need to wear cape.

 

I saw many these kind of racial/religion insults news nowadays, it's sickening that those people think it's alright now they have their role models.

It's nothing new I know, happened all the time, but we should move toward the direction of it being 'less okay' than 'you can do that now'.

What's worse is that Trump didn't even speak out against that white supremacist until just yesterday after a lot of people started putting pressure on him. 

 

Honestly as long as Trump is President, I expect attacks like this to continue.

Yes, and if I'm not wrong, that is not his personal account he normally uses? Something tells me someone did that for him.

Imagine if it's the other way around and the attacker is Muslim.

 

I believe these rotten people don't represent their religion and I believe the respective religions don't wish to be represented that way. So same thing, noone should be judged from their attributes but as a person. Simple concept, but it's soooo haaaard to understand apparently.

Good that there are many people who stand up for those bullied, but sadly, they shouldn't need to die for that.

 

The other ones I saw are random people (normally middle aged women) hurled racial abuses at people in public places like stores and asked those to go back to their countries, because of simple little things and they don't.. look like them.

 

Now I'm trying to imagine if all imigrants have to go back to their origins, ALL imigrants.. only native stays.. how would the world be...

 

Eta: no one wants the PR job eh.. wonder why.

So he killed two innocent Americans, injured a third and frightened two muslim women and that's all this guy has to say? He has no remorse whatsoever?

 

I hope the other white supremacists don't see this guy as some sort of martyr and are emboldened to start attacking immigrants as well.

It's just been announced that Trump is trying to get the US to pull out of the Paris Agreeement.

 

I guess that's what 'covfefe' meant? It's how people will be saying 'coverage' after Trump destroys the climate.
