Hhhmmm...I would have to say yay, just because I haven't been able to watch The Dr. for eons. Channel 10 used to carry it and  I watched it faithfully. Then the powers that be stopped carrying their signal and lost track of it. As long as he makes a good Doctor, why not.

If I ignore his tenure in Torchwood, it's yay.

I like being able to say the Angel has the Phone Box.   3tardis.gif

Oh, dalek is so cool  :)

I haven't seen all seasons. I know only Rose Tyler and Martha Jones

I don't have any free time for watching it.

Ha well if you plan on watching ALL seasons, you'll be here a while. It's been running since 1963. ;) No pressure.

Actually, I suspect that very few fans have actually seen all of the episodes, or even all of the Doctors.

I watched the show regularly back when Tom Baker and Peter Davison were playing the Doctor.  Even though I stopped watching after that, I find that I can understand newer episodes well enough to enjoy them.  Someday when you've caught up with the recent Doctors, you might have a look at some Tom Baker episodes!

Your mentioning Peter Davison reminded me of something that was posted on Cracked a while ago.

There's at least one on here - I have in no way seen all the episodes, but I have seen all the Doctors, including the ones that don't fit into the canon, such as Peter Cushing, Joanna Lumley and Richard E Grant.

Tim will another, I expect. :boing:

I've seen probably all of the 3rd Doctor's episodes. I've seen quite a bit of Doctor 2, and a few episodes of Doctor 1. I actually haven't seen all that much of the 4th, and of course I've seen the whole new series, although I was reluctant to get into it until about 2010. I thought it was blasphemy! ;) But, of course, it proved itself to be rather good.

But ahh, to remember the days when Whovians were considered the paradigm of the geek race. Now it's just kind of normal.

I have seen odd episodes and series from all of the Doctors, and the films featuring Peter Cushing too courtesy of my dad who is a life long whovian, so even from a young age despite the show seemingly finished I was into Doctor Who long before it was brought back to our screens and one of my favourite Doctors of all time is Tom Baker's portrayal. Of course I have watched all of the new series and Doctors too, which I have enjoyed and I am eagerly anticipating the 50th anniversary show.

I am not that familiar with Peter Capaldi as an actor, that is not necessarily a bad thing though, and I look forward to seeing what he can bring to the role. I shall reserve judgement until I have seen him in action.

This special one-off drama travels back in time to 1963 to see how the beloved Doctor Who was first brought to the screen.

Go to the BBC website to read more, including a Q&A with writer and executive producer Mark Gatiss!

(I sure hope this shows up on this side of the Atlantic sooner or later!)

I have indeed seen stories featuring all of the Doctors. Although I have by no means seen all of the stories there are.

My favourites are:

The Second, The Fourth, The Fifth, and The Ninth. I also greatly like The Tenth. ;) And that's as much as I'm prepared to whittle it down! :D

6:  Colin Baker

7:  Sylvester McCoy (AKA Radagast the Brown of The Hobbit)

8:  Paul McGann

9:  Christopher Eccleston

10:  David Tennant

11:  Matt Smith (the current Doctor)

12:  Peter Capaldi (the upcoming Doctor)

And while you're waiting for "The Day of the Doctor," how about watching "The Night of the Doctor" (which just came in on the Sherlockology newsfeed)?
