And here we thought our feline shoe-fetishists were weird!  They just rub on our shoes -- haven't managed to get anything other than paws into them since they were kittens.

johnspec has US men's size 10.5 shoes and with how he takes the shoes on and off, the opening isn't too bad for that average sized cat.

Wait.. is this the direction to talk about shoes again? :p :cowdance:

Oh, rodent's lover but think they are not cuddly enough as they are too small?

This is the world's biggest rodent, size approx medium dog.

I swear I enjoyed spending 15 minutes just watching them chewing, with their heck-care face, it's fascinating.

Not really chatting shoes too much just that his feet are large enough for that cat's head.

And what is the name of that rodent?

As for talking shoes, this is the time -- Arcadia's not here to defend herself!

SO cuute! :)

Helga and Gandalf like my shoes too, but they rather dig them somewhere else and underneath them with their paws, I wish I had a video or picture of that. Or they take them and throw them around. Mostly they don't have acces to my shoes though, only my in-house shoes sometimes, which is more hygienic for them anyway.

When I am back at my mums computer again (still without no own here...strangely it's not too bad - more time for the pets ;)), I have to upload a pic of Hagrid (guinea pig), I recently made a funny cute one of him.

I left Mom's calendar turned to June a few days into July, simply because I thought the picture was just adorable -- a row of cute little birds sitting on a branch.  The calendar didn't say what type of birds they were, or even where they were, so I had to do a bit of googling.  Turns out they're called little bee-eaters, and they live in the southern parts of Africa (which explains why I'd never seen them around here!).  The calendar photo was very similar to this one (apparently they often sit in a tight row like that):

Forgive me if I had posted this before, your picture reminds me of the one I took awhile ago. I believe these are love birds.

Long time ago, in my hometown every sunset small birds would fly and perch onto suspended electric cables to rest for the night. There were thousands and thousands of them, quite a memorable sight. Amazingly, we didn't have a lot of disturbance from bird droppings. XD

That is so sweet! The only time I've ever seen love birds was in a cage. It's nice to see them free to fly about.

Oh, the love birds are in an aviary, butbit is a very big high aviary, so they are not completely free.

The ones that are free and rest on electric wire after every sunset look like this, they are small, maybe one fits in a palm.

Obviously I don't have any documentation, but it looks similar to this every evening, together with their chatters.

Small, light and quite fearless. The ones around here cannot wait until the dogs finished with their breakfast, they already wait on the nearby ( I do means nearby because it is only about three metres from perching place to dog bowls by straight line) branches for leftovers.

Some sort of sparrow, for sure.  OK, according to this website, it's a Tree Sparrow (the kind from Eurasia, not to be confused with an American Tree Sparrow).

I'm not sure it's really that species or not because it's only based on my memories, haven't visited that town again for over twenty over years.

My dog is such a romantic, two days ago I picked him up from my friend's house, after being away for three weeks. I had never gone there so he had never expected to see me there I guess, and got so happy and excited he actually peed himself. Poor, nice, nice, sweet doggy.

Awww, so fwuffy!

Awwwww... so cuddly.

I had chance to play with baby otters and their furs are surprisingly soft. But those are tamed baby otters (don't worry, not pet), otherwise nobody should ever try to touch them unless you don't mind losing fingers or chunks of flesh.

Back to awwwwwwww...

don't say it, don't say it.... I want one. ...too late..

*solemn, straight faced expression* As someone here once said, obedience training is to prepare pawrents to get used to obey their dogs.

I think that is almost the way, but I am holding on. This furball is extremely smart. I set high expectation, he fulfills it and more.

He doesn't really care about food, sometimes he doesn't want to eat just because. (Oh nothing wrong I had checked, he is just like someone fictional I know). So I implement a rule for him to be confined around the area he feeds and no games everytime he refuses to eat.

So everytime he doesn't finish his food, he punishes himself by knowingly staying in that yard, and giving me this face. All the time his eyes never leave mine. That is manipulation at Sherlock level. So I did 'wrong', I have punished myself and give you a present of this puppy look. Melt, human, melt!! You have no other excuses.

He is a faster learner than me. We both love dogs, now he had matched my introversion level and dislike engaging with people, unlike back then when he cheerfully approach everyone, while I haven't learned to pee everywhere I need to mark my territory.

The tide was high and the wave was rough this morning, so swimming was not good for little doggie and he knows it, yet the way he longingly looking at the sea is the same with me. I wonder if he likes to scubadive too.
