I think the potential for shenanigans runs higher if there's electronic voting as hacking is way too easy. Also absentee ballots can go that route as well. I remember several elections ago, a guy did an absentee ballot in his dog's name.

I'll be glad when this is over and maybe in 4 years we'll have better candidates to choose from and people will start demanding more from the 3rd party options instead of focusing on the 2 main parties. Can it be January 1 yet? A good dose of Sherlock would be brilliant or maybe another press junket for a project Benedict is working on/just finished.

Nope. That's just what the losers want you to believe. There are a lot of honest, dedicated, sharp-eyed people working long hours today to make sure your vote is registered as you intended. They are not just there for show. Mistakes and fraud happen, but it is very rare. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply trying to undermine your faith in democracy. Let's not let them get away with it, k?

We might all be suicidal after next season!

One is allowed to stop watching at any time. You are aware of that?

You do realize the show is like a drug? It's near impossible to stop watching at anytime. We usually have to be dragged away. :evilmoff: appears to be secretly trying to control the world by slowly making us all go insane.

Hey! A) He's right about everyone getting off their chairs and going to vote

B) When we were discussing favourite TV shows in another thread, I said that this Sherlock isn't on my top-ten list; that doesn't

mean I shall stop watching it: that's what fans DO :moriarty:

It's funny how we're all different and on a BBC Sherlock fan forum, too- at least I think it is?!

Sherlock is my all time favourite show, I consider it to be the best TV ever.

Incidentally, I am sorry if I'm not making myself very clear.

I know the hiatus gets us all a little crazy and pressure builds up, as we get close to a new series air date.

But it just feels very different to me this time.  It does just all seem very final.

This is all I mean in my comments.

I am not referring to any particular suspected plots or creative portrayals etc.

I just worry it's gonna be the last series for a very long time.

I'm with Camper on this one ... whatever's wrong with me, it's not my fault, Moftiss has brainwashed me. Q0oTkIT.gif?1

I don't feel that way at all...although in typing this I've just realised I'm probably gonna walk right into the trap of proving exactly the opposite of what I was going to claim!

I don't like the term brainwashing.

I think 'bowled over by talent', suits my feelings better.

All I know is I need Sherlock in my life more than ever now.

Bowled over by talent is definitely an apt description. I would definitely agree with that statement and apply it to me.

We are not brainwashed! We are fans, for Heaven's sake!

Quite so.

Isn't it the same?

Not at all.

If we were brainwashed, we'd be more zombie/robot like in our response. Everyone wanting/saying the same thing. Since we're fans, we have crazy discussions instead bringing up ideas that are just as far-fetched as the beloved (& sometimes feared/hated) Moftiss.

We are certainly human, which is why I can watch the series multiple times and enjoy its camp quirkiness, while at the same time loathing, abhorring, detesting etc. all Mr Moffat's advertising little duplicitous, deceitful, guileful, wily ploys to attract attention. He's just doing his job, promoting his product.

I have never shared this popular view on Steven and Mark deceiving us...

They answer questions as honestly as  they can, whilst trying to remain spoiler free.

I never had a feeling of being lied to (as far as I can tell from my short fan career).

^ is that a proper sentence?

Anyway, I think I was able to see when they were joking.

Or trying to avoid saying something.

I think Moftiss use verbal slight of hand at times to avoid spoilers and to get a laugh while trying to answer a question honestly.

I agree. And I don't see the series as being camp.

To try to un- :hijacked: this thread: does anyone know if Benedict has had any other interviews or similar in the last few days regarding Doctor Strange or other projects he's working on?

Aren't they supposed to start filming the next Avengers around Thanksgiving?

P.S. Definitely camp, almost like the Gene Wilder film, Sherlock Holmes's Smarter Brother ( Siegerson Holmes), or the Michael Cane spoof. I do miss both Wilder and Marty Feldman!

I like the idea of filming dates. Maybe some non-spoilery pics will show up on social media when ever there's a non-studio filming location.

But you'd have to keep a close eye on him. A very close eye. And given how repulsively unattractive he is are you sure you could stomach it? ;)
