I hate canned laughter. I don't need to be told when I should be laughing, I'll decide if I find it funny enough to laugh or not.

Yup.  There have been times when I was the only one in an entire theater who was laughing, so I clearly don't need a cue.

Will admit I'm sometimes a little embarrassed when that happens, but I doubt that canned laughter would've made me feel any better -- besides which, the folks in the can probably wouldn't have thought that part was funny anyhow.

Cute and lovely (even if I prefer cats)!

That's practically a Charlie Brown tree. Maybe the dogs decorated it. :p

I saw it in the other thread and burst with laughter.

Momma Holmes just called Mycroft "MICKEY".

BTW, after binge-watching TLOG I've seen S1 i TV and there were moments when instead of Mycroft I've seen short haired version of auntie Val.

Maybe there are more Holmes siblings even Myc doesn't know about?

Or maybe they are clones that didn't turn out well and had to be held in secret somewhere they won't call attention?

I'm pretty sure she called him "Mikey" there -- and somebody's autocorrect wasn't.

It’s all Mycroft undercover doing MI5 work... he’s after Tubbs.

Oh, gosh…  a Sherlock/TLOG crossover?

Don't give me ideas!

It would explain Les' affinity to desserts and creme brulee. (BTW, I cant's stop calling him Les Miserables in my head)

Lol, those moves. I want to see those moves whilst he's dressed as Mycroft.

Odd interview, doesn't seem particularly happy or comfortable to be interviewed does he? A bit prickly and defensive.

I hope Dracula is good, I liked the book but I've never been very impressed with any of the film/TV adaptations. I hope it is set in the modern day, doing it in the timeline of the book has been done to death. They made Sherlock byronic, fingers crossed Dracula will be too.

Considering how some people reacted to some of his previous remarks, I can't blame him.

I hate to say it, but I am so bored with vampires it's not even funny. Although I suppose at one time I could have said the same thing about detectives....

The interview - it's hurried, it's unprepared, there is a lot of noise in the background.

The most important info though - there will be no Sherlock S5 anytime soon. Not even soon-ish. Which is not a surprise to me.

I think that’s probably a good thing, though it makes me sad there wasn’t more of them young - but that ship has already sailed.

Being the same age range as the writers gives me at least a little hope it still will happen in my lifetime.

Perhaps we will get an S5 of Sherlock that picks up with Holmes and Watson in their retirement years.  The careers of our two leads may have cooled off sufficiently by then to allow them the time.  Sherlock retired to the Downs and his bees in 1904, when he was 50 years old.  Benedict is presently 41, so we will have to keep our hope alive until at least 2027.  Holmes and Watson were 60 and 62 respectively when the Great War broke out in 1914, and the Doctor rejoined the Royal Army Medical Corps.  So it might be closer to 2037, provided Moffat doesn't kick in the interim.

Well, in 2037 me and Mark will be 70.

Ohhhh, to be so young.....
