Might have been me. I've been trying to recruit my cool tumblr followers. :D

I found this place thanks to Banshee who posted it on her LJ. :)

I saw the #FF with @mention on your twitter, so I was glad to find Sherlock's forum, because I prefer to read information or watch arts on forums.

LJ - but it was a post from a certain admin on my friends list so does that count as word of mouth too?

I think it does, yeah :D Maybe we should make it a multiple choice poll? :D

Tapatalk search engine for me - made finding this forum a joy as I can now keep it touch with the community whilst on the move. Very modern Sherlock of you!

My best friend is into an anime fandom and is a mod of a very active forum. She was so enthusiastic about forums, that I googled 'Sherlock forum' and came here :)

That's what I did too. I was looking for a Sherlock forum, and being who I am I thought, "Google! 'Tis the answer to all of life's problems!" And then I was brought here. :)

I often find myself thinking "What did we do before Google?". Truth be told, I have vague memories of bad search engines and, even worse, having to remember the address of sites one wanted to visit. *hugs Google tight*

I remember using Lycos, Infoseek and Webrawler from 1994 ish. Mind you, I was using Netscape back then too.

Hi all, Searching Google for other Sherlock sites I came across your forum. I wish you continued success and have placed your banner on my site.
