Actually, the same algorithm did NOT work the first time I tried. But that was probably in mid-February, and judging by the earliest "joined" dates, this site didn't go live till the end of that month. Congratulations on becoming a real web presence so quickly!

Well, I was looking for a real forum. Instead of having to go around in endless circles. I hate that. So I figured I'd use Google, it's fairly reliable now. And this forum was the first on the list. And why "Heaven only", John? Have I died and wasn't aware of it? Oh, God. Sixth Sense all over again. But seriously, I am not dead.

I used Lycos and Webcrawler and still spent far too much time on the internet at 4am (because that's when I had 'free calls' instead of having to pay for my time).

And before that, there were libraries (instead of Google / Wikipedia), and mimeograph machines (instead of forums), and snail mail (instead of email). We spent just as much time awake at 4 a.m., of course. That has always come with the territory.
