The Freeman/Abbington piece is not an interview as such. More that they are guests throughout the show and can comment on the various issues within the show. So not sure we will get  a full recording of what they said; except maybe snippets.

They were guests on what, a rerun of a Series 1 or 2 episode?

Hopefully it'll all show up on YouTube if the BBC chooses not to post it.

The programme is called The One Show; a daily  magazine type program dealing with topical stories. Just a small part dealt with Sherlock; and not in any in-depth way.

Ah -- they were used as a bribe to get people to watch the (entire) show!

Basically yes. They get a guest to remain throughout the show; so you have to watch it all the way through in case you miss something. Not a show I usually watch! And when they got onto Sherlock half the time was wasted asking them questions that they couldnt answer; and then five minutes of a clip of a fiction writer and ex-copper discussing the fall.Which obviously Freeman/Abbington were not going to comment on. Bit of a waste really.

"The Empty Hearse" will premiere on January 9th in Latin America over BBC Entertainment, with the hi-def version being shown there over BBC HD on the 13th.

I'm definitely celosa!

I have very little hope of that being available from where I live. Too bad, but I'm so used to that...

Isn't it funny that other countries got different trailers? Just watched one from some Scandinavian channel (judging by the subtitles) and it showed completely different scenes than the one from the BBC website (it also made me feel very compassionate about Sherlock. Poor guy).

Apparently the trailers are concocted by the individual television networks, rather than by Hartswood or the BBC.  Odd.

I've heard that the Finnish trailer (perhaps the one you're talking about?) was such a spoiler-fest that it's been taken down!

I'm experimenting with trying to download BBC iPlayer. It's says it was successful but nothing working as yet. Still playing with it.

Is that one of those things that only works if you're in the UK?

Geny has a nice How To BBC on her tumblr, if that helps.

Is no one going to discuss that amazing Finland trailer?

Sorry to be a party pooper guys, but we shouldn't be discussing how to get around BBC region protection in forum.

I have no idea what it was. It was odd. Maybe it was Finnish? Don't know the language, so I wouldn't recognize it if I saw it, my impression was just "must be some scandinavian tongue". I didn't do anything but google "The Emtpy Hearse" and it was about the fifth link or so. Very weird. At first I thought it was fan made, but then I realized I hadn't seen any of those scenes before and Anderson had a beard. Didn't quite know what to make of it.

I'm sorry, Tim. I thought merely linking to it (as opposed to explaining it) would be okay - apparently not. My bad!

It's just that sites like ours exist mainly due to the goodwill of the BBC, so it's best not to antagonize them.

(With any luck BBC worldwide will publish the mini episode online themselves so everyone can watch)

For clarification, does that mean we can't discuss the trailer in the forum now that it's been removed?
