Glad to be of service, ladies, the hiding a pebble in a beach and a tree in a forest come from another Father Brown story, The Sign of the Broken Sword.

I am currently watching The Murder Rooms, a BBC series on the origins of our favourite character, and Ian Richardson plays a wonderful Dr Joseph Bell.

Just FYI, I did it again (and the forum ate the post). Things being quite disappointing so far, but I'll try to make the best of it.

Did what again?

This is the mythical con in LA, right?  Or was that only a dream, and you're in London again?

Who are the celebrity guests?

Posted

Oh, right!  So anyhow, do you know yet which celebrities will be there?

Added:  And does anyone know whether they ever had that con in LA?

Oops, wait a minute -- we've already had a report on the LA con.

I didn't attend the event even though it was within my city (sort of if you count where I live as "greater Los Angeles").  However, I did know people attending, and I had one of them pick me up some of the pieces of wallpaper that Arwel sells, so I'm expecting those soon.

This is the only con photo she's posted so far:

Hopefully once she's rested up from her trip, there will be more.

I don't recall anyone saying that we're picky!   :P

Brain's shutting down already.

BUT I've had a very satisfying chat with Sue and Steven… and some other nice things happened, which I cannot recall right now.

I think you have to push it all the time. We have wild ideas - and we do them. Obviously some of them get grumpy and say “This isn’t the realistic detective show it used to be!“ Heaven knows what they were watching.—

It's worth to follow the link, btw.
Thanks for the link!

And Mary - a "beloved, popular" character? Heaven knows what fandom he is talking about! :-P

I've become quite a fan of TheLeftPill since JP posted that link (marvelous photos), and if that group was the only thing you followed on the 'net, you'd believe that Mary was indeed popular and beloved. Although I find it hard to believe Moffat isn't also aware of the other part of the fandom.......

She has lots of photos too if you can figure out how to get to them. Nothing jumped out at me enough to go to the trouble of sharing it, though.

Here is a report from someone else to keep you entertained.

Thanks for the Twitter link, but that prior post seems to be missing its goodies.

Glad they didn't wait till the last minute to announce the dates this time.
