I'm rather neutral about B andthe B because I don't feel like they really sacrificied much to achieve their happy ending.

Just the opposite of what I think about Sherlock and Co., come to think of it. Whether we see them morph into different selves or not, there's no denying everyone suffered before reaching their happy ending. But I agree it's not the most satisfactory resolution in TV history. Too rushed, is what I feel about it.

I liked the live Beauty and the Beast, but I loved the older animation- I thought that was a masterpiece (of the sort of thing that it is).

I liked both the live and animated. Ever since I was little B&B was my favorite animated movie. Lion King became a close second. For the live version, I enjoyed the charm of the actors. The actor that played Gaston clearly had a ball playing that character and his winking at the camera in the credits was amusing. It's just nice sometimes to see a feel good movie. Too many movies nowadays are either Marvel superhero types or depressing movies.

Ben was spotted in London shooting The Child in Time.

Does he ever sleep? :P

Currently no as he has a newborn at home. Maybe in 10-20 years when his kids are older.

Well, Hal is one month old today, but why do I have the feeling both he and Sophie supervise their children's upbringing but don't get hands-on about it, like any other upper middle-class family with a nurse and at least one nanny?

According to Goodreads:

Stephen Lewis, a successful writer of children's books, is confronted with the unthinkable: his only child, three-year-old Kate, is snatched from him in a supermarket. In one horrifying moment that replays itself over the years that follow, Stephen realizes his daughter is gone. With extraordinary tenderness and insight, Booker Prize–winning author Ian McEwan takes us into the dark territory of a marriage devastated by the loss of a child. Kate's absence sets Stephen and his wife, Julie, on diverging paths as they each struggle with a grief that only seems to intensify with the passage of time. Eloquent and passionate, the novel concludes in a triumphant scene of love and hope that gives full rein to the author's remarkable gifts. The winner of the Whitbread Prize, The Child in Time is an astonishing novel by one of the finest writers of his generation.

Tbh, it sounds more interesting to me than the Current War...

Different, for sure. But each could be quite interesting in its own way.

Is he done filming The Current War?

I think so. Imdb says it's in post-production.

The last I knew he was filming Infinity Wars so any filming of TCiT would be interesting.

Oh, I didn't know that about Infinity Wars, I wondered about that. Another busy year for the 'Batch.

The government agent in relentless pursuit of the imposter, you mean?

I love based-on-a-true-story imposter movies, as-told-by imposter books, etc.  Think I might really like this one!

Yeah, it sounds more to my taste too ... if it's not an obvious knock off of the other one. Catch Me If You Can, I believe it was called. I liked that movie.

Oh, it's clearly no rip-off.  It's based on a different real-life impostor, and Christian Gerhartsreiter isn't the usual semi-harmless con artist.  I wonder if the movie will mention the murder that he's currently in prison for.

Which he didn't win! Boy, does that man have an unlucky streak a mile wide when it cones to awards! Still, the interview on the red carpet was interesting!
