When your Iphone tells you that your generic power cord may not work properly with it, you just sigh and say, "Yes, thank you for your input."

When you walk past a poster for Dr. Strange in the theater, and squeal like a teenager because BC's face is on it. (Okay, that's a BC obsession, not a Sherlock obsession, but hey.  )

So did I. But internally. This time I did it out loud.

Just got done reading a trilogy called Wars of the Realm.  In book 3 the MC is compared to a modern-day Sherlock Holmes.  The author is Chuck Black and I have met him a couple of times & talked with his daughter Emily once.  I know she is a Sherlock fan because we discussed it.  Wouldn't surprise me if he watched it with her or heard her talking about it so much that it ended up in the book.

Jealous!

I hope I will react cooler and in more dignified way than you :p but I have proven myself for the past year that there is a lack of usual self control in Sherlock and to many degree, BC. Damnit.

Ahhh.. I went a bit berserk when I heard Hound reference and Sherlock theme in another show just because a character tried to be a detective. Glad to know it's still in our normal range after all. :)

When you stand in the discounter in front of a shelf with kids DVDs and there's a couple in special offer, and you buy one of them because you might have heard that BC is speaking a character, even if not mentioned on the DVD, and you don't remember exactly if it was that film, but hey - animated films with penguins are cute anyway....

(I put it right away in the player to check it, and from the beginning I strained my ears until the wolf (fox?) came in the picture, haha....you really can't miss that voice! He's only mentioned in the end credits, no intro with names and all that.)

I dragged my friends to see it in the theater, that's how obsessed I am.

Is that a motto or a threat? Or a promise? :p

nod-skype-smiley.gif Good idea, it is guaranteed that more time someone spent here more unhinged they will become.

A warning. :D

Liar. :p

I didn't get the memo back then.

Strange, I am exactly the way I was. :angel1::cowdance: The only difference is the drooling, it gets annoying.

So, I @^#^#& bought the weird Funko Sherlock, eventhough I complained last time that they didn't get the clothing right. The purple shirt is supposed to be tucked in, and the belstaff is in wrong color too, grey instead of black, and I don't even understand the appeal of Funko, and I had survived not buying that back then when I travelled to a place that actually cares for Sherlock.

But when I miraculously found him, sitting by himself in the store I didn't expect to see him, sigh.. this is unjustified impulse buy. And you should see the storekeeper's face when I said "this model is not right, it has the wrong coat color and shirt style."

I used to think Sherlock coming bsck after almost being declared dead in HLV was simply unrealistic from medical point of view. But toaday one of my patient went into cardiac arrest and after 45mins of CPR we were about to announce her dead, just then her heart restarted, miraculously, and she became alive. it was a great joy.

after coming home I rewatched HLV and realized that's how Sherlock came back after being shot by Mary.

yup I read that. But dealing with this thing in real life, well, an amazing experience.

Interesting. Did you ask your patient about the experience or anything they remember from that?

An ex-colleague of mine, I believe him but it really sounds very strange, told me a story about his grandma. She passed away, it had been at least half or close to a day in funeral home when she 'woke' up, then sat down with her children and dictated her will (she didn't have it when she..eh.. died the first time) for a couple of hours before she passed again.

P.S: Is that Sherlock and Molly having a baby in your avatar? XD

Posted

yes, I did. She said she remembered being thrown in a big hall where all of her past life scrolled in front of her like a movie. She wanted to get out but she could not.  Then she did, she found herself in  hospital.

About my avatar- it's some art I made when first setlock pic for the new series came out. It is Molly and Sherlock babysitting little Watson (Link http://fav.me/da2thnv).I have made few other sherlock art in my DA account.

When you are starved of new episodes you analyzed the reason(s) why a particular case falls on Sherlock's lap instead of taking the generic 'because he is the best and she needs secrecy' excuse at face value. Or maybe because you likes to tinker with 'things that usually happen behind closed doors, grey areas where there is no right or wrong, world of vague shadows moving within dense blanket of fog, etc'.
