I thought that looked like her, and meant to look it up. Now I don't have to, thanks! :D

.....when you are inordinately pleased to recognize Benedict's parents playing characters on an episode of "Lewis."

You watch the first episode of 'Humans' and shriek with excitement when Jonathan Aris appears!

So that's 3 Sherlockian actors and Colin Morgan, in the show!

Jonathan Aris is also in Ali G Indahouse.  His part (a reporter) is small, but Martin Freeman has a major supporting role, and his character is hilariously different from anything else I've seen him do.

You know your Sherlock obsession has permanently altered the way you filter the world when certain segments of his Best Man speech about poisoning or asphyxiating people go on repeating loop in your mind on the day that 23 of your best co-workers get "laid off" to remedy a budget deficit caused by higher-up administration....

It is a grim, grim day where I am  :(

Thank you Carol and SherlockedCAMPer. I appreciate it.

I also read the press release concocted by the higher ups explaining the reason for the cuts, and I dearly wished that I could access every mobile phone in our region and send

Wrong!

just like Sherlock did in Study in Pink.

When you just about have to grab a tissue because of the last bit of a fanfic series you wrote elicited unexpected emotions.

(I wonder how bad I'll be when I finally post that last bit in a few days. Must not cry, must not cry...stupid hormones. lol)

...when you learn about a real unsolved murder case and your first thought is "we need Sherlock Holmes". Then your mother turns to you and says "we need your friend here".

My sympathies lie entirely with Godolphin above! When I have to straighten the misconceptions "colleagues" have instilled in my students' minds mass poisoning a la Goldfinger readily comes to mind, because it is notoriously difficult to dislodge a false perception or idea once it has lodged in one's mind! Why can't they leave well alone?

You didn't take the poster?!

You didn't take a picture of yourself with the poster?!

I swear, officer, I don't actually know these people.....

(and I didn't have a picture-taking device on me at the time...)

Fall asleep and dreamed about what might actually happened behind the Magnussen fiasco. Multiple system redundancy x_x

...when you see a girl in line for the movie who has a Sherlock case cover on her IPhone and you immediately identify yourself as another Sherlock fan (and are wearing the charm bracelet to prove it!)...

When you notice that your brain overcomes the aftereffects of anesthesia because it blurts: BORED!

I have an unpleasant impression that Martin used to be typecast as an idiot.

You watch Jonathan Strange on BBC TV, because you love Bertie Carvel(Sebastian in Blind Banker) and then see Bob Frankland(HOUND) in it, too...can't remember the actor's name!
