I just had a closer look at those photos. I can't link to them, because for some reason the forum software won't let me, and they're not very high quality, but from what I can make out,

the head in the jar (that Mark Gatiss sent around a picture of) is on the table with the book and the lens, and there is something that might very well be a human limb on the lab table. The whole thing looks like a morgue or an anatomical / pathological institute. Like a place where Molly would work, only set a little more than a hundred years back.

I have to correct myself:

That's not a book on the table where the pickled head is, it's just a square pan. The pictures on the wall look pretty odd, by the way. I can't quite make them out, they're too fuzzy.

With them, it's more like "traumatize several generations all at once, that's what it's all about" since the fan base has a broad age range attached to it.

Saw on Tumblr that signs are up in a section of Bath noting no parking at the beginning of Feb. due to filming.

That is so true Jenny.

A big THANK YOU to everyone for using spoiler boxes when discussing any actual plot clues that have not yet been divulged by Hartswood or the BBC.

And a big thank you to everyone who is posting stuff! I didn't realize this would be so exciting!

This is my first setlock.  If all had gone according to plan, I would have been there in person, but alas... i am in California just being excited by reading these posts.

Look on the bright side, at least you're not freezing your - whatevers - off!

No, my whatevers are not frozen off, although I would love to have been at Setlock... as well as previous locations.  Really wanted to go see Sherlock's grave area and take a pic on the spot.

Another tweet by Mark Gatiss.
He tweeted it 3 times and I don't think it was by a mistake.

Not sure what to think about that at all.  But they appear to be in some sort of crib at the end of a bed.  Repping Sherlock and John?  That they're both really just teddy bears or they're both just big babies???

At the very least, Mark is adding fuel to the fire known as speculation so that we can hypothesize, theorize, and speculate all the more.

I had that same thought.  The unexpected twins (I know a set of unexpected triplets, parents were told twins).

It would be really hard to miss a twin on an ultrasound, however...or maybe Mark is really telling us that Ben and Sophie are expecting twins or triplets...after all, he retweeted three times.  A boy and a girl...

We'll find out in due time whether that's when Benedict & Sophie have the baby(s) or when the special airs.

Oh yes, all will certainly be revealed in 2015!!!!

Well, the teddy on the right is wearing a blue scarf, if that tells you anything.  ;)

And has a tag.

The plot thickens or something like that.

Presumably!  Can anyone read the lettering on the tag?

The blue-scarf teddy is also missing his left eye (unless he's winking it).

And the ticking of the pillow they're lying on matches the ticking of the mattress (or whatever it is) behind the grillwork.

And here I was looking for the Steiff button in the left ears...

Sorry the print is too small even for my eyes and zoomed in.

The headline of that tweet was "not sinister at all", right? (At least that's what google says). Now I wonder, what does he think is sinister about two old teddy bears? Sure, they're a bit tattered, but that only adds to the appeal. Either they're very antique, or were very thoroughly played with, or both.

Gosh, I think I'm completely missing the point here. But I really don't see what's remarkable about that picture, or how it relates to Sherlock, except that they put a blue scarf on one of them (anything with a blue scarf is now related to Sherlock? Wow.)

I think it's just a joke of some kind. (Though theoretically, it looks like the kind of image Moriarty would use, don't ask me why).
