I guess the big question is, was Sherlock wearing jeans, or was it Benedict Cumberbatch (in the mistaken belief that they wouldn't show)?  Definitely need to rewatch this -- which we're planning to do en masse in a couple of weeks, right?

Riiiiight. If we can contain ourselves that long......

Can we get a screenshot of this?  Or is there one out there?

Just checked your other forum, Arcadia (there's apparently been a whole lotta turnover since my last visit -- even though that thread's a year old, the only familiar name is our very own besleybean).  Anyhow, the member who posted about the jeans adds later that Sherlock reportedly also wears jeans somewhere in "The Great Game."

OMG, can I stand the suspense, or do I need to start zipping through TGG right now? (Chews nails nervously...)

Is it me, or does that also look like a corduroy jacket? :D

Correct

Contain ourselves?  When do we ever do that? ;)

Now I want to do a fast forward through TGG as well and to re-look at this bit from TBB to see about the jacket.  (Wish I were at home so I could.)

Well, all I can say is that perhaps with Sherlock's growing reputation and larger client base, he probably can afford better clothes.

"Better" is a relative term, though.  There are circumstances when jeans are seriously the best thing possible.

I live in jeans.  Best article of clothing ever.

Now I'm waiting for a TGG screenshot of the jeans... ;)   Ask and I shall receive????

Spandex is a girl's best friend...

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo................ not this girl, at any rate! A world of no..............

I may or may not have started wearing a lot of athletic wear (i.e. spandex) for casual wear.   :blush2:

Light weight quick dry khakis are very good as well..

P.S I heard Van Coon and Lukis cursing up and down because we talk more about clothing material than their dramatic death.

Yes, what were Van Koon and Lukis wearing? Were they dressed appropriately for their deaths, or not? Discuss.

Van Koon I thought was business and Lukis was more casual.

This poor episode... Now its thread has become a discussion on clothes (clothes? did anybody say clothes? hey, I'm always happy to talk about that, even though I have no clue about fashion whatsoever).

I still like The Blind Banker better than The Empty Hearse and I'm looking forward to the rewatch. Although the scene where Soo Lin discovers the warning on the statue always freaks me out.

Hey, clothes are relevant!  All the characters are wearing them!  (Well, assuming that they never actually make that all-nude episode.)

They're all naked under their clothes anyhow.  Everyone is.

Or sheets... anyone care to discuss thread count?
