Was anyone except me having trouble getting on the forum about an hour and a half ago?

I got bumped out and couldn't get back in for a short bit.

Me too.

Oh good -- thought maybe I'd messed up my account somehow.

What - you think you're special? B)

Apparently it was all of us.

Or at least anyone who attempted to use the forum during that (apparently brief) time period.

The men all seem to be pointing some serious guns at something/someone on the ground. Kinda reminds me of the TEH scene where Sherlock's captured in the Serbian woods. But why is the one man just standing casually aside? Is he their leader? (Or maybe the director?)

I've been meaning to say, I really like Arcadia's idea that we're seeing the six-year-old Sherlock's imaginary pirate adventures with Redbeard. Which would explain the apparent "R" on the flag, and also why we've had no indication that any of the primary actors are involved.

That was my first thought when I heard they were filming at a beach. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it were true. I would really like the Redbeard mystery cleared up...

Ralph Ineson is in this? It'll be interesting to see if his character is as disgusting as Finchy in The Office. I was going to say I've never seen him in anything else, but when I double checked that character's name on IMDb, I saw that he also played one of the Carrows in the later Potter flicks. So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that in this episode he plays a baddie. And not a particularly nice one.

Mycroft disguised as Mrs Hudson? WHERE?

How do we know that Mark Gatiss is playing Mycroft here? Maybe there's simply a strong family resemblance and he's actually playing Uncle Rudy.

Or (more probable though less fun) maybe Mycroft is acting as bait to lure in a baddie who's after Mrs. H. (Though I can't imagine how they'd explain "her" growth spurt!)

(Actually, I think that's Jupiter.) So they have aurorae out there too, huh?

Oh gawd.... egg on my face.  How'd THAT ever happen?  I had to go back and change my post.  <<<red-faced embarrassed>>>

Now I'm wondering what the gaffe was. :d

I don't think it's either Mark or Una or either of their characters, myself. Just Arwel havin' some fun......

Clearly meaning to imply that it's Mrs. H., though. And I can see how one could think she's being played by Mr. G. Though of course the picture's so dark and low-contrast -- hey, anybody good at photoshopping? Care to bring up some contrast so we can at least make a more informed guess?

I put the wrong planet down in my first comment, Arcadia.  Duh!

Jeesh, it's as if someone (as in the world's astronomers) decided to unplanetize Pluto or something....
