Not sure where the best place for this is, but since it's taken from one of my favorite shots in the series I'm putting it here!   We had a street painting competition yesterday, near where I live.

I've been feeling a little guilty for neglecting John lately (but Sherlock's just so pretty!!) so here's some nice ones I've found. I like how they often surround him with soft, warm neutrals, it adds a hint of contemplation to his character.

 

I'm not too fond of John's "new" (meaning series 3) wardrobe, though. I cannot imagine John caring enough about his looks to choose and put together those items. On the other hand, I can very well picture Mary dressing him, so it's not completely irreconcilable with the character at that point...

Not sure where the best place for this is, but since it's taken from one of my favorite shots in the series I'm putting it here!

 

We had a street painting competition yesterday, near where I live. I thought you lot might enjoy seeing my entry:

I mostly did it as an in-joke, to see how many people would realize what it was. Most people were clueless but several of the 20-somethings that walked by got it, and a few of the 10-somethings. A lot of them guessed it was Dr. Who at first.

 

Alas it didn't win (a space octopus did) but I had lots of nice comments. And a couple of people seriously wanted me to come paint their driveways... !?!!?! If they hadn't assumed I would do it for free, I might've...... :smile:

 

Gorgeous! Can I take classes from you?

Looks like he's kinda got his arm around Molly -- yay!  :)

 

 

Oh yeah, the body is language is there between them for sure. She is turned towards him as he is towards her. Her head is also tilted towards him.

 

Don't go putting ideas in my head... Oh, wait, they were there already!

Don't they look cute together... :)

Whereas I am so oblivious I didn't even notice his clothes were different! (They are???) But right, if he's got a lady, she's gonna spruce him up a bit, yeah? I like that idea, it's cute.

Well heck, if that's all it takes, then Mary and Mrs. Hudson must be in a long term relationship. Mrs. H has her body turned towards Mary, Mary has her shoulders tilted towards Mrs. H, their thighs are touching......ah, the passion!!!!!  :tongue:  :evilinside:

Well, I can fix that -- I'll just change the title of the thread!

 

Added:  In keeping with Ruthy's original intentions, I have also attempted to make it clear that this thread is for favorite pictures (etc.) from Sherlock (the show) in general, rather than being restricted to pictures of Sherlock (the character).

I on the other hand kinda like John's new clothing items. I've long suspected that Martin Freeman is a "Summer" (though put enough makeup on an actor and it's hard to be sure), yet John's prior wardrobe was mostly "Autumn" -- very nice styles for the most part, and lovely colors, but perhaps not the best palette for John. His new items tend more toward blues (e.g., the knee-length coat, which appears to be dark blue).

 

And yeah, I figure Mary's had some input!

I'm pretty sure it's Mary. I have lots of guy friends who have had girlfriends, and almost every one of those said girlfriends made them dress a little nicer -- collared shirts, khakis, etc. No hoodies! :P

Naw, there is no passion between Mary and Mrs. H.  Amanda's posture is very "closed in". She is smiling and it seems genuine but her arms are straight not relaxed this compresses the chest area and is called protecting the heart. 

 

Yes, Ms. Stubs legs are turned towards Amanda but she is setting well back and behind Amanda and her head is tilted away from Amanda as well.
