He says he's given up smoking -- yay for him!

I second this! :applause:

Moftiss, did you hear this? No Sherlock-low-tar-scenes in S4/ the Special or I'll come after you! :whip:

Yes, yay!  When I read an article recently that said he would give up his motorcycle when he became a father, I must stay that I was slightly disappointed because I was hoping for him to give up smoking.  Glad to see he's already taking that step.

BTW, I should make it very clear that I do NOT go trolling like an obsessive fan for BC info.  It shows up in my Twitter feed and I simply pass it along.  I leave the research, digging and trolling to other people.

Mm-hm. ;)

However you do it, thank you for sharing. I find mine by clicking on the links associated with yours! Such as this one, apparently a radio interview (?) I skipped over the first minute when I realized it was revealing the first scene of the movie.

Hadn't seen/listened to that interview.  Although I am skimming a lot of the interviews about TIG because they are so repetitive.  And he can be a bit long-winded.

Aw, that's too bad, actually.  Just because he might become a parent doesn't mean he has to stop living or enjoying his hobbies.  Keep the bike, BC.

My nephew gave up his bike when he became a dad ... the statistics were a bit scary, he said.

Indeed.  My nephew-in-law was in the hospital for months after crashing his motorcycle.  And my former neighbor-across-the-street died when a car hit his cycle.

I remember on an early episode of "ER" there was a remark about motorcycles that went something like "we (the ER room staff) call them deathcycles."

Sfmpco I also don't go hunting down for Benedict related news (or any other celebrity). I let it come in to my feed from specific sources that should hopefully be fairly accurate.

I can see the point if giving up the bike or keeping it. My fave musician has 3 kids and at least 1 Harley. He still rides in occasion.

Annnnnnd.... guess who's on the cover of Time Magazine? Although I can't figure out if it's the current issue, or a future issue, or a special issue ..... The date on the cover is Dec 1-8 but that's meaningless as regards actual publication date.

As near as I can make out, that interview is going to be on tonight (11/21/14). 8:30 my area, but check your local yadda yadda.

Here's the Charlie Rose website, if you miss the broadcast it looks like they will replay it here for a few weeks. For free. Bless PBS.

That was a fun little read about the 8 things we may not have known.

Agreed. I liked the Vogue one too, it was a little bit different. Thanks sfmpco!

Saw the Charlie Rose Interview.  It was short but nice.  I enjoyed it and am really hoping that National Theatre is able to work out filming his Hamlet.  My big thing (and it has nothing to do with any of Benedict's interviews this week per se) is how does that suit he wore work.  I would like a picture or video step by step on how that suit works as what looks like a traditional suit collar is not on the out layer.

Just starting here, I really like Rose's interviews, looking forward to it.
