Jon Stewart's Daily Show the next day, Tuesday the 18th.

Kelly & Michael is usually ABC but check local listings.  Jon Stewart I thought was Comedy Central (cable) but I could be mistaken.

And now I'm seeing on one website (Headline Planet? never heard of it) that he's going to be on Good Morning America on Monday the 17th. But I can't confirm this anywhere else, and since GMA is also on ABC --- dunno. I rather suspect he's only on the above-mentioned Kelly & Michaeal, but GMA starts at 7 a.m. on ABC if anyone wants to take a shot.

I remember that one.  It was actually kind of funny.  If they had worded the Tweet correctly (changed or added 1 word), it might have worked.

Well, The Times is the local paper, isn't it?  I mean, it's the local paper, which is exactly how GMA worded it.  Of course it's not just the local paper.  And certainly not just a local paper!

 

Added:  I suspect that The Times was being somewhat facetious.

Watching GMA according to the info from my cable provider says that Benedict will be on at some point.

Preview showed a reddish colored suit that looked interesting (not a normal suit collar style). So he should be on soon for central time zone people.

Well, I see that BC actually WAS on GMA, but I missed it because I could never confirm it and I wasn't about to sit through 2 hours of their fluff in hopes of catching him. So I hope someone puts his bit on YouTube, cuz I'm selfish that way.

 

That Kelly and Whatsisname show was about as silly as I expected, I'm afraid, but BC as usual played along nicely and was very dignified. The odd red jacket was much in evidence, I can't decide what I think of it, because also as usual as soon as he opened his mouth I stopped paying attention to anything else...

 

Stewart, I hope, will be in respectful mode and ask meaningful questions, although sometimes he's kind of awkward with guests whose work he's unfamiliar with. (Altho for all I know he may be BC's biggest fan and will tease him mercilessly. Which would also be fun to watch.....)
