Too bad the picture won't show, nice one of Moffat and Gatiss. But you can follow the "View the full article" link if you really want to see it.

The same here. Don't want to get spoiled. BUT...

They say Mycroft is in the Special. Have I said I'm relieved AND excited at the same time?

I think either Louise or Amanda said he was in TAB, so that's hardly a spoiler at this point.  Also, since we already know that Sherlock and Watson are introduced in this movie, it stands to reason that Mycroft would also be introduced.  The trailers do show Sherlock at the Diogenes Club after all.

The links above have no spoilers.

It almost wouldn't surprise me, however, if there weren't some red herrings in the trailer.  Well, we shall all know in around 24 hours or so, depending on where you live.

LESS THAN 24 HOURS!

I was going to do the marathon thing... oi, no time now unless I choose not to sleep for the next 13.5 hours to get them all in... Since I am recording it on my DVR, I'm sure I'll see it twice before I go to bed, and then of course I have tickets for BOTH nights of theatrical showings.  So I'm quite certain that by this time next week I will have seen it no less than 4 times and maybe as many as a dozen.

Thanks for all the links everyone! I'm trying to abstain as if I read one article I'll get hooked and read them all. Can't believe I finally get to see this tonight and can't wait to chat about it on the forum afterwards.

Whether this is a spoiler or not, I don't think so.  It's merely a list of the actors and their credits.

Apparently someone decided that it did constitute a spoiler of some sort, since that page no longer seems to exist.

Oh well, the cast list will be all over the internet later tonight.

Wow, it is so soon now... I still can't believe how excited I am, I am not that long into the fandom and now this happens. My first time really waiting for an episode of the show.

Well, so much for Radio Times.

Hi back, S&J!! Was wondering where you are.

You are lucky! Do you have to travel far to the nearest cinema?

Hi Johanna!

Yeah, been busy lately with my studies.

It turned out I live too far from the nearest cinema to go there - but never mind. I'm not really interested in the extra material, and I'm watching the episode tonight, as it airs on television here in Norway, where I'm currently visiting family. Family that also loves Sherlock :)

S&J, yay! You're still with us!!!

Haha :D Sort of...

Anyway, Happy New Year, everyone!

Good news for Danish and Finnish Sherlock fans - The Special is coming to selected theaters in our countries (announced through Facebook).

Oh my god! I live near the border! Yippee!!!! Do please let me know where and when - perhaps we could even meet...

Dear TOBY, I'm not sure that Oldenburg qualifies as being near the border, so that we could all meet up there somewhere, as Copenhagen is bound to have a venue, but have you checked that the Danes do not dub their films like ours do? It would be a complete waste of time, money and effort to go to a dubbed version. I can make heads or tails of something said in Danish, like Flemish, but 90 minutes' worth of Sherlock in Danish would be beyond exhausting in terms of focus!

I'd be very surprised if they showed a dubbed version in Denmark. As far as I know (and Danish forum members, please correct me if I am wrong), they show almost all films with original audio and subtitles there. That's why I love Danish TV - if I am staying anywhere that has television, I always check if they get a Danish channel.

First of all - so sorry, Toby, that I didn't manage to reply to you. Haven't even seen your comment until now :( I've decided not to watch it in the cinema, though. Will see it tonight through a Norwegian channel, as I'm in Norway now. I was surprised to see that it is airing here tonight. Apparently there is yet no air date on Danish tv.

It's true - we don't dub films in Denmark. Thankfully.

Just a few more minutes till the Special begins in the UK!
