Oh man.... seeing these pictures has actually made me start to salivate!! I LOVE men in long coats!! And, hands down Sherlock is my fave character (and BC my favourite actor to ever portray him - used to love Jeremy Brett but he's too....stuffy by comparison. Love BC's youthful playfulness!)

 

I'm going to have to lie down now after all this hot sexy coat action!!!!!

 

P.S. Where, why and when was that top photo taken?? DT and BC in the same place is my idea of heaven!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going with Mycroft, though not entirely sure.  I guess I find him most intriguing because we know so little about him, and his whole shtick of being the armchair British government is interesting.  Being the older brother myself I guess helps too, and "Mycroft" is just such a cool name.

Besides Sherlock and John, I really do like this version of Lestrade.....speaking of which....does anyone remember what he has been promoted to?  He is no longer just a DI, a vast improvement from the canon.

I'm going to go with Mycroft and to be honest, there's no real competition in my mind. I love Mycroft's cold (but still totally caring about Sherlock) side. And there's always this undertone with him that he's far more dangerous than you could think, but he's there in a suit all suave and somewhat smiling and only slightly running the country.

The newspaper article at the beginning of "Sign of Three" refers to him several times as DCI Lestrade, which I believe is Detective Chief Inspector -- however, the end credits still list him as DI Lestrade, so this may be another case of sloppy fake newspaper articles.  (When will they learn that we actually read them?!)

 

There's no mention of a promotion in the episode either -- but I believe the article was said to be from 18 months ago, so everyone would have gotten well past the "congratulations!" stage by now.  Maybe we'll find out for sure eventually!

Well, since all the men I fall for are kind of sociopaths I would have to say Molly. I sympathise with her because I know what it feels like to  genuinely love "Sherlock" !

Jim Moriarty any day. I think most of the people are voting for Sherlock because his intellect and lifestyle is the focus of this television programme. However, Jim is Smart(er than Sherlock ? ), Powerful and Wealthy. We don't get to witness how he does the things he does but the things he does is extraordinary. In the episode The Great Game he plays GOD to a human Sherlock Holmes. The great pain he must have gone through to create such a game for Sherlock. He is not on the side of the angels but he is an extraordinary human. Sure Sherlock is also extraordinary but I believe Jim deserves more votes than he is getting. Think about it. Sherlock is addicted to drugs and Jim is addicted to playing games with Sherlock.
