You do realize -- it's not heat that sunburns you, it's solar radiation (which can, however, come right through clouds)?  Worst sunburn I've ever gotten was on a chilly, cloudy day.

*Sigh*.  I've had a bad couple of days.  Nothing big, just a bunch of little things.  I cooked a meal, took a walk, paid my dogs some attention and rewatched some of "The Office", and that helped a bit.  But I'm still feeling generally down and dispirited.

I wear hiking socks and my boots fit fine... don't know why my little toes feel so mangled. 😫 Lovely day though, sunshine, fresh air and pretty views.

I think everyone gets the odd shitty period where they feel morose and dispirited, I know I certainly do. When I get really drained and stressed I tend to shut down and have an epic sleep to reset the system. Hopefully you'll feel better soon.

I told my colleagues and they laughed their butts out and said he IS a weirdo, so that should answer your question :P. But they always enjoy me being mean to guys. The other day someone who apparently know me but I don't know him request for a ride, a bit insisting in his short verbal persuasion when I rode by him so I told him to WALK and just left him in cloud of dust. We normally need to go around with bike in our working area (I stop giving ride to guys because they put their hands on my waist or shoulder where there are perfectly pillion handle to cling on, or be a man! Fall if you can't hang on! But for people I trust like my colleague, I'd let them be in front).

So when this guy came to my office (my desk was hidden), and when he left, I told them, oh that is the guy that I told to walk. They laughed like idiot and explained to me who he was (which doesn't matter to me although by right I should have known him since he had been working here for years :P)

What we were saying before about buying clothes online... do I wear a big hoodie and just have it as oversized or send it back and get a small one? Decisions, decisions.

Better too big than too small in any case. Plus if it's larger you can wear layers under it.  How much too big is it?

One thing I've been wondering for years -- last time I was in the UK, I was thinking of getting a souvenir sweatshirt -- but every single one I found had a hood and I've got such a long neck that hoods are uncomfortable.  Don't they sell regular sweatshirts over there?
