Sherlock with a beard? Um... no. Doesn't look right. And as for John's new hairstyle - I h... um, really dislike it. As in really dislike.

 

What on earth was wrong with how they looked before?

I can believe a scruffy Sherlock with enough stubble to look like that -- presumably for a case.

 

But John?  No, that doesn't look like John to me.  The hairstyle makes him look like Martin Freeman!

But he had that hair in the picture of the scene with the baby and the dog as well, and that was supposedly from a shoot for a different episode. I am afraid this is just how series 4 Watson does his hair. I hope at least Sherlock has a snarky comment about it.
