I understand, but I was trying to cheer people up because ever since the election people have been gloomy and I can't blame them

I'm a bit worried about Trump's election....I mean, here in Italy we had a very stupid leader with Trump's same ideas, that almost ruined Italy (I'm still wondering WHO voted for him!!!), sooo, USA is considerably more important and expecially more powerful than Italy...that's why I'm worried

Yea me too, though I'm trying not to think about it.  :(

... we'll see how it goes...

Still good advice, I think.

(Besides, what else *can* we do at this point?)

When does this sick feeling of utter impending disaster go away?

No worrying because of Mike Pence? Some speculates that it is likely him who will run the country.

Refer to Trump as the annoying orange and play The Impirical March whenever he's in Public?

I know you said before it's a reference but I find him too scary at this point, not to mention the people he's surrounding himself with.

I understand you. But that won't stop me from poking fun with it

What we need to do is pray that the US government makes the right decisions with the policies that are wanted and/or needed. These are not necessarily what many in society would agree with for policies but ones that uphold the constitution and many of the truths the founding fathers based their decisions on.

I don't know if I can agree with all of that.

But at the end of the day, not my country.

I do think Trump was the wrong choice and I have concerns for his influence around the world.

I thought that both main party candidates were the wrong choice.

If I'd had a vote, I would have done too.

But then once he didn't have the nomination, I would have voted for Hillary.

If it makes you feel better, Britain had to deal with Margaret Thatcher for 11 years

Do you mean Theresa May? Why not?
