Is this the wrong time to admit that there is a Sherlock-related article in my bathroom? Not a shower curtain, though...

OK, now you gotta tell us what it is!

Or at least give us a hint, so we can guess.  Hmm, lessee, liquid hand soap like Eddie Van Coon had in his bathroom?  Or the matching lotion his PA had?  A tub -- like Sherlock was using in "Last Vow"?  A skull-shaped incense holder?

Oh dear, a lot more boring than that. I made it myself. And it goes on the wall.

You know your obsession is bad when you like too many really good posts that happen in the few hours that you were asleep.

Can't find any other good ones, though. I'm a little scared of digging into Tumblr because we all know where all that leads to.

When you're typing an email addressed to the Sherwood Center and type Sherlock Center instead. All. Three. Times.

Oh, a black haired unicorn, of course! Why didn't I realize that?

That actually looks like something I would have gotten into at one time ... if all my free moments weren't already being consumed by regular Sherlock! :D

When you have to load your Sherlock image folder onto another source because it's too darn big and taking up too much darn room on your hard drive.

What about trying to juggle keeping up with the news on the forum with real-life presentations, when you use "yep" and "nope" to correct your students and actually try to pop those p s, when you are actually teaching and find yourself using your hands in imitation?

I referred to my mom's sweater as a Jumper last Friday and threw her for a loop as my sister laughs as she's the one to do British terms not me.  My mom already has it bad enough with 1 daughter confusing her with non-American English.  The last thing she needs is both of us doing it to her.

Oh, no, not you too! I was popping my p's all the time in my classes for awhile, fortunately my students had no idea why it was funny.....

Er, we only use those sometimes!

EDIT:  Hang on, 'nope and 'yup' scream Wild West to me!

Well, the "nope" comes from the Christmas scene in Scandal, and the "yep" is his answer to Archie's query as to Sherlock's being a detective in SoT. Still, I have been using those two for quite some time, imitating the tone made me smile inwardly.

Speaking as a Christian, I would not, although I have seen some decidedly unmentionable things.  Personally I would start fangirling that there was another SHERLOCK fan in the vicinity!

You just changed your ringtone to "Stayin' Alive" just in anticipation of your phone ringing during class, so that you can give an exaggerated eye-roll and say, "Do you mind if I get that?"

Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only one! :D

I never thought of the popped p's and the clicked k's being British so much as one Mr. Cumberbatch just having fun with language.

And if you met him in person and he started popping the P's, you'd say, "Oh look at you being all Sherlock!"  LOL
