You know your "Sherlock" obsession is bad when...

Just fill in, what do you do in everyday life, or something, that just make you realise your obsession has gone mad..

 

I start...

 

When you have to walk over your bed, table or couch and immediatly feel like Sherlock..
When you out from just a photo can imitate the exact line in the right tone (Especially Moriarty photos)

When you don't mind your boyfriend wearing knitted jumpers, no actually, when you BUY him those knitted jumpers..

Sorry if AP, or if I double posted this, but I just don't see it anywhere...

 

But you know your Sherlock Obsession is bad when:

 

- You suddenly like men in knitted jumpers or long coats.. With their cheeckbones..

- You want a hedgehog

- Or an otter..

- You dream about Sherlock or the actors..

- You feel like freaking Sherlock Holmes when you notice things about other people and try to guess something out of that..

You are ill and bed ridden for the day and start imagining how Sherlock and John would nurse each other.

You buy a necklace with quotes like "John, I am a ridiculous man, redeemed only by the warmth and constancy of your friendship".

 

Someone speaks to you and immediately you respond with a Sherlock quote. (Then you smirk to yourself, and the other person is completely lost.)

When your ringtone is Stayin' Alive;

 

When cadmans and IT workers are suspicious;

 

When everyone gets annoyed if you get a text.

When you spend way more time than is reasonable looking at fan vids.

 

When you find yourself clicking your K's and popping your P's.

When you find yourself carrying on a conversation consisting entirely of Sherlock quotes.

 

When the only poster you've had on your wall (or even bought) since the 70's is a 2x3-foot picture of Sherlock and John.   

 

 

But does all this mean that your obsession is bad -- or that it's really, really good?

When you get a random call from a withheld number and immediately wonder where the semtex-laden victim is

- When you seriously consider using Sherlock's waltz for John and Mary as your own wedding waltz

- When you cannot make it through a day without quoting Sherlock at least once, if only inside your own brain, and smiling knowingly to yourself to the consternation of your clueless and uninterested environment

- When you spend more thought on what John and Mary's daughter's name might be than your parents used up debating your own

- When your mantra at work is "all that matters is the work"

- When you expect to see Molly any time you pass a morgue

When you're absent-mindedly doodling and then realize your random strokes spell out 221B Baker Street.  Ahem.

When you automatically fix your jacket collar or put it up the way Sherlock does without realizing it

 

When your friends know that you are about to make a Sherlock reference right as you open your mouth
