Might be interesting: Just have seen a documentary about women in jail. One of them who was convicted for manslaughter changed her memories making her victim into a man to rationalize her attack.

I assume you're comparing that incident to Eurus and her "lover"?

Oh, very possible. Pretty sure I've done it myself on much more minor matters, such as where I left my glasses. I'll have a sharp memory of leaving them in the bedroom, but where I'll find them is in the kitchen. And yes, it's VERY traumatic. :d

Well, at least you have company. We doubt your sanity too. :p  35o46Bs.gif

This person on Twitter posted links to scripts TSOT, TRF and TLD :D

https://twitter.com/Ruther2

I just read through TSo3, and wow -- it's the same episode, yet it's completely different!  It's titled as Draft 5, March 25th 2013.  I'm guessing that the version filmed was several revs further along.

Here are links to TLD and TRF.  Haven't had a chance to look those over yet.

Didn't we have a link to Scandal at one time? I can't seem to find it. Might have imagined it. Might be peas.

Don't offhand recall that, no.

We need a thread for links to scripts, but right now I need to get to bed.

I should be working right now. Actually.

Good! That’s good, isn’t it? He’s a
real live wire, is Sherlock. When
we were children, he worked out
from the angle of the car seats and
a smear of lipstick in the back of
the Audi that Dad was having it off
with the au pair. I’m afraid Mum
wasn’t too pleased and that was
that. Bang went our happy home.

So, that's the reason for the rumours of Papa Holmes having an affair.

Too bad they ditched that! I strongly suspect this was written before they were planning to introduce Eurus. She would have probably murdered the au pair... Or maybe not. Who knows. Anyhow, as the story stands, it makes no sense for the Holmes to hire any normal person to look after their kids.

And that's why Mycroft's "That's good, isn't it" just kind of hangs there. Maybe he's still *thinking* about that incident but not saying anything.

I think the rumors of Daddy Holmes' affair got started when BC almost blurted it out in one of the commentaries.

In any case, wasn't that actually a plot point in one of the Holmes movies? I'm thinking Young Sherlock Holmes. Although it's been so long since I've seen it that I could be imagining things.

Yup, Young Sherlock Holmes. Which is presumably where they (almost) borrowed it from.

Okay, why is it that I remembered that, but not what I just went upstairs for?

Because in the latter case, you left one room and went into another. I read that that's what triggers an awful lot of absent-mindedness, and it certainly seems to be true in my case. (Hey, you asked!)

Unless the deduction happened after Eurus was removed from the home. All the trauma can make people do silly things.

Hast thou never heard of a "rhetorical question?" :p Yeah, I've read that too, somewhere. Annoying human trait, I wish it would go away.

I can't figure out where else to put this, so here it be: Arwel Wynn Jone's website. Lots of production photos for the viewing pleasure of geeks like me. Enjoy.
