I got Little Charles from August, Osage County. Now I want to watch that film even more, I still haven't gotten round to it... Of course I wanted Christopher Tietjens. I wonder whether he was even an option.

... Five minutes later: Ha! Got him! If I choose my second best answer every time, I get Christopher. Strike. I'm sooo good at getting what I want from these tests... :D

Oh to be familiar with BC's other works beside Sherlock :p I still need to watch Into Darkness, lol

Is that the sound of angry Cumberbabes that you hear behind you? Because you just love-locked Sherlock. You are a smart individual who doesn’t care what others think about you. You are probably more introverted than expressive though. Sherlock would be a great match for you…platonically. In a perfect world where Sherlock is more lax about falling in love, he would make an interesting boyfriend for you. Sherlock is intelligent, oblivious (sometimes!), sarcastic, loyal and trustworthy. He will tell if you if those pants make you look fat, or if you should invite your friends over for dinner. Be cautious though, because he does tend to like “guy time” over “relationship time” so he’ll be needing some space. If you can convince this super-computer to fall in love with you, please share the secret with the rest of us (and lock your doors).

Hah!

you got the curly-mop sleuth, trade with me? :D

I got Little Charles.  As much as I like that character, really I don't need to be attached to major dysfunction.  I have enough of my own.  But I do like the thoughtful, caring side and that singing voice...

Then I tried it again to see what other options there were and got Sherlock, Khan, Sherlock, Tietjens, and Khan.  Apparently Martin Crieff is also an option (was reading the comments to see who else was available) but I haven't gotten him yet.

Sad indeed a description would be awesome for that.

Okay, got it with a different search engine ... Hmm...

Martin Creiff

Congratulations! You get to fly around with Captain Martin Creiff from Cabin Pressure. Sure he is a bit of an idiot, but he works really hard to fly that plane, and for almost no pay. He'll make a great boyfriend because he has a great work ethic and is a stickler for the rules...sort of. He is a bit of a diva. He is loyal and will stay by your side. Just don't be jealous when he is out flying the plane around instead of planning dates (that he has probably forgotten about).

Oh, I don't know, Martin has his appeal .... He's sincere, for one thing, unlike a certain detective I could mention ... :p

The only one of the characters that Benedict Cumberbatch has played so far whom I would really want to go out with in real life is Christopher Tietjens. But I married someone like that anyway, so I'm not really sad the character doesn't really exist... besides, for Christopher, I'd have to be as good as Valentine, and I don't think I can meet those standards.

I got Martin Creiff as well.  Frankly, of the Cumberbatch characters I've seen, he might actually be the best choice!  Sherlock isn't even interested in dating, Khan -- well, let's just say forget Khan, and I haven't seen the other two.

I think you might like Parades End, Carol. Unless you are put off by anything that deals with war, which I could totally understand - though I must say, I've never seen anything that refrained so well from glorifying warfare while still having a heroic main character who is a soldier (or rather, becomes a soldier).

Christopher Tietjes is really interesting. He's a genuinely good person, but he's kind of trapped inside his own rigid ideals and old morals, to the point where his goodness stands in the way of his natural kindness, sometimes. He's the kind of man you want to hug and cuddle and just be really warm and gentle with because you sense that he didn't get half enough of that growing up.

He does sound like my kinda guy, in a way.  Though I believe someone mentioned him already having a girlfriend, and my subconscious doesn't seem to waste its time developing crushes on men who are already spoken for.

Well, I’ve never been a man of many words

and there’s nothing I could say that you haven’t heard

but I’ll sing you love songs ‘till the day I die

the way I’m feeling

I can’t keep it inside

I’ll sing a sweet serenade whenever you’re feeling sad

and a lullaby each night before you go to bed

I’ll sing to you for the rest of your life

the way I’m feeling

I can’t keep it inside

No, I can’t keep it inside.

(I'd be the happiest woman in the world :))
