When's he gonna film it, during a time warp?

I see something called Blood Mountain, first time I've heard of that one. Sounds equally as grim.

Thanks for that image. Sfmpco! Long dark coat as befits his role, hands behind his back like his friend, Loki looks just wonderful, I shall definitely watch that when it is released!

Yes I knew Benedict would be fabulous in this role and seeing Tom in his place only confirms this.

I thought he had to turn it down cos he was filming something else instead...Black Mass, Richard III?

Not sure.

Having said that, I didn't really fancy the film and was actually quite glad when he pulled out of the project.

I remain disappointed that he's no longer doing Lost City of Z.

If I were an actor, I think I'd find that kind of thing so much more rewarding than movie-making.....

I think most actors crave theatre work, more than anything else.

Yes, I think they sort of feed off the immediacy of a live audience.  It sort of charges their batteries.

Groovy! :D

Good grief.  When IS this Cumberbaby going to make its grand appearance? *Paces the floor anxiously.*

At least the wait is shorter than the air date of a new episode of Sherlock.  (And I can totally picture Sherlock pacing the floor in anticipation because of your profile pic Jenny. :))

I think it's the fans who have declared a due date, and now think the baby is overdue.  The kid will presumably come along when it's good and ready!

There are some fans who think she may have already delivered and they are being hush hush in order to have some private time, because I know someone who sat behind her at Letters Live and said she looked ready to pop then.  And then there are some who wonder if there are actual Cumbertwins in there...

Oh I don't think Sherlock would pace.  He'd be right there in the action!  And then his emotions would probably short circuit.

I would probably agree to that.  If he was kicked out of where the action was, then I could see him pacing to try to stave off boredom in the wait or to try to deduce how long it will actually take for the baby to pop out and all of its measurements and 1 & 5 min APGAR score.

I personally had assumed the due date was last Sunday.

Now in my day they were prepared to leave you for up to 3 weeks after that.

But I know these days it's a much  shorter time period.

Trouble is, I can't remember how long that is.

But say for arguments sake it's a week.

We should be getting news any day now.

And, in the meantime, to get dear sfmpco's mind off the actual babies, I do hope she has Fortysomething in her collection, because House MD being a parent to Rory aka Benedict (always take the precaution of a long coat and a short friend!) is absolutely spot on, what else can one expect when Stephen Fry steps into the fishmonger's role, Anne Marshall from Kavanagh Q.C ( John Thaw: Morse, and Pride and Prejudice) is the wife, and Hugh Laurie, is at his absolute scintillating best!

In the US it is typically 2 weeks past due date with exceptions before they will force the issue.

Just cos of his BAFTA absence.

So on SherlockedCAMper's calendar, we could have another week or so to go.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the story behind that book.  What's the deal, and what injunction?
