I rewatched Amazing Grace last night.  I hadn't seen it in eight or nine years when my church was promoting it, and of course then I had no idea who Benedict Cumberbatch as.  He had a great part and did a really wonderful job with it.

I've heard late this month, but I think she could deliver at any time, quite frankly.  I don't expect to actually hear about it immediately.  They may delay the release of the news.

There is some speculation that she may have already had it and that they are just being secretive and very private about it.

Someone mentioned a while ago about Benedict buying a new London house and I kind of scoffed at the idea.

I know his Hampstead home doesn't have a garden, so maybe he wants a garden for the baby.

Well, to be fair to you, there have been news items speculating on house purchases in California, on the Isle of Wight, and in London, so it's a little hard to know what's truth.  And, I doubt he's buying a house every two months as one would guess taking all these "news items" in the aggregate!   :D

Dear sfmpco, thanks for the pointer, listened to the first part, I am poised with anticipation to listen to Part 2 when it airs, and the really mental breakdown part is, I HATED Kafka at school, when we had the much more famous Trial as assigned reading! Loathed him with my whole being, and almost twenty years later I returned to an English translation JUST because it was that lovely voice reading it. Thanks for sharing the link!

Yeah, he was reported to be in it for a while, but then apparently decided against it.

Mmm, yeah, I remember that. The one I haven't heard about in ages is Yellow Birds, I wonder if that's been dropped. BC might be getting a little old for that role.

IMDb still has it listed -- currently "in development," scheduled for release next year.  And Entertainment Weekly ran a brief article on it four months ago.  So who knows?
