I'm tempted to buy the book just to show my support for him (and then probably not read it, as I'm overly sensitive)....

 

I can't imagine what the ex-wife was thinking ....

 

In the end, she did him a favor, in a way -- the court case and especially Mr. Cumberbatch's support have given the book far more publicity than it would likely have gotten otherwise.  If she has any sense, she's kicking herself right now!

Yeah, really, she did him no favors, but I get Carol's point ... her attempt to silence him just gave him a bigger voice in the end. But he sure went through hell to achieve that, I doubt he thinks it was worth it.

Oh, James' book:  very proud of Benedict and delighted for James- can't wait to read the book.

I wouldn't be too hard on the ex-wife, i think James has spoken about how it must have been hell for her, certainly at the time of his illness.

Anyhow, she won- she got the son.

There are rumors that Keira Knightly has been seen with her newborn, but no announcement has been made.  So  if it's true, I would suspect Benedict to do about the same thing.  As of 2 days ago, however, still no baby.    

 

Rumor has it that Keira has a baby girl.

I hope nobody thinks I was implying there should be some sort of immediate announcement?     I don't think there will be, nor do I think they should feel like they have to.  I'm sure it will hit the "news" at some point, though, just because... celebrity.  I do hope they get some level of privacy, though, but I don't "need" to know.   I was just commenting on what I think when I see certain threads updated.  Mostly b/c I REALLY WANT Sherlocked to come to the states, and the other because I assumed the kid is due sometime soonish.  So when I see this thread updated it's a "Oh, maybe she had the kid?"  I dunno why my brain jumps to that.  lol   Other than thinking of that when I see this thread updated, I don't give it any thought in my day to day life.

No, I definitely didn't think that you were overly invested in the baby news.  I was reacting a bit more to some things I've seen on Twitter and other social media that makes me think that there are fans who think the birth is going to roll out a bit like Kate Middleton's, with news releases about admission to hospital and a sign officially announcing the birth of a little prince or princess.  (I think that's all a little over the top even for royalty, but then, I'm an American and a little tone deaf about such things.)

Well, good.     I was getting quite concerned that people had taken my post more seriously than I meant it.  I tend to play things up for laughs (I do this in real life too) and sometimes I forget that on the internet, where people don't really know me that well, people may take some of my exaggerated nonsense I post seriously.
