As much as I am an INFP, it does not even come close to covering all of my movie choices.  I'm picking about my fantasy & I like some sci-fi & comedy (picky on those as well).  Then there's the action/adventure, classics, musicals, spy movies, films based on true stories [war (my current kick) or otherwise], and I do like intellectually stimulating as well.  Basically I like family friendly films & films that guys generally wouldn't mind going to plus a few chick flicks.

Temperament..definitely not people first.

Not proud to say I hurt people's feeling unintentionally, people that I love and don't want to hurt, because I'm such a clot.

INTJ:

I did memorize periodic tables (nerd!) in a way I invented myself, all formulas, math and physic. XD it's all gone now. I knew my computer configuration in details back then, but now I only have office one and my laptop is a present (not really interested in something I can't really change or expand like a desktop). I do know quite a bit about my motorcycle and camera. I hardy ever need to medicate, but the two common ones that I use, I could buy whatever brandname (to get away with prescription) just because I know the content. Not paracetamol, everyone knows that.

Changes in travel plan solution.. yes, survived quite a lot of that, some are quite extreme.

Get hands dirty. Absolutely. I get impatient and sometimes showing is better than telling.

 

INFJ:

Charming and connecting.. so it's quite obvious to me I'm not that! :lol:

Know who is married to who, pregnant, sibling.. embarassing to say, I hardly remember friend's kids, quantity, name, gender. I barely ask/remember if people are married or not. Haven't been into social media for years and barely remember names. But I try hard to always remember tragedies happen to friends, it's something I don't want to ever misstep.

 

Pretty sure F is not my area. If there are some doubt, just maybe, it's between J and P.

Lately I found out a colleague who is an INTP has great interest in this and we like to compare each other for fun, there is no doubt in him that I am J and vice versa.

The INT always comes very strong, if the tests are to be believed.

Nah, impossible, you can see my results of various tests and all of them rings true in parts. Add with how I behaves here. I just met someone who identified herself as INTJ but the way she carried herself, I am 99% positive that it is merely a wishful thinking of hers. She is an INFJ.

If that stat is right, where are they? Too often I've met pseudo ones in forums (don't even ask about RL, they are like winged unicorns). At least in secret labs we might catch a few nerds who fit the bill 'intelligence is smoking hot' :D

(It's a real conspiracy, although I think the creativity for the naming really sucks if it really exists )

 

The other possibilities is they are well hidden among the other 6.8 billions.

Desire to feel special, validation of self, Barnum effect, an excuse for certain behavior that they have at the moment, the description have many of the current trend of 'cool characters' portrayed in mass media, etc. They don't think the ramification of it for themselves if they really is one and the challenges that go with it. Would they think it is still 'cool' if they are ostracized by people around them because what they are? IMHO, INTJ description looks like someone who is most likely admired (and feared) from afar by those with healthy self-preservation instinct. Sure it is dazzling and intimidating but certainly not conductive for personal relationship without getting their partner hurt more often than if with someone more 'normal/ordinary'. Rather like Icarus getting too close to the sun.

Funny, yesterday I was watching House and there is much about emotions going on right now... I would love the series if they got rid of those boring medical stuff and concentrated on the main character. (and H Laurie is a fantastic actor)

 

 

But seriously: a collegue of me is ill, he needs a transplantation. I like him (and I admire his positive attitude). He's a young guy with a wife and a kid that was born in June. And I just realized that I built a wall already, compared to other coworkers. We've lost another collegue to cancer few years ago, and there seems to be an emotional place I don't want to enter again.

I think I am lucky that people still want to endure being friends with me, but I always know I am not the nicest person at all to normal standard.

Actually since childhood I always thought I am just a very odd and insufferable person until I found out about MBTI.

 

Then I feel that I have reasons and justifications to be insufferable.

Tickle VBS - like I said a few months ago, where are you during my childhood and teenage years? :p We would be like ACD's Sherlock and Victor Trevor during their college period. Imagine that, soulmates (or most likely, mindmates).
